Hey I didn't say who I was cheering for. That Zenit win in the Europa League a few years back was fantastic, was cheering for you all the way and hope you can do good again. I'm a pessimist though and Belgian teams doing well is bad news for Danish football.

Don't worry, Anderlecht will finish last of their group with 6 losses as usual.
Or maybe not now that Ariel Jacobs is gone.

Fixtures already set:

Di 18.09. Zuhause gegen Ajax Amsterdam
Mi 03.10. bei Manchester City FC - Official
Mi 24.10. Zuhause gegen Real Madrid C.F.
Di 06.11. in Madrid
Mi 21.11. in Amsterdam
Di. 04.12. Zuhause gegen Manchester

Zuhause = at home

Final against City at the Westfalenstadion? LOL City

I don't understand why when a new manager enters a club they immediately feel the need to stamp their authority on the club and alienate players. What exactly was the point of Rodgers treating Carroll like a piece of shit before he even walked through the gates of Anfield? Don't get me wrong, I think he's a shit footballer, but Carroll was starting to show some form at the end of last season, he wanted to stay and fight for his place, and he does at least offer something different. AVB is doing the same to Van der Vaart at Tottenham - one of their best players last season.

Rodgers has just been honest really. I'd rather that than him coming out and saying that Carroll is a part of his plans only to get rid of him, or even worse to attempt to accommodate him to the detriment of the team.

VdV is a weirder situation, cause he's a good player.

United would never let him go to Liverpool

Aye, I know. I like him as a player though. Really wish he went to Juve.

Because he's a footballer that doesn't fit his system, and in order to get a player that does (which everyone unanimously agrees Liverpool do) he has to leave. And he hasn't treated him like shit, that's your perception of it, but Rodgers has said from day one that he's been open and honest with Carroll as to where he stands. That isn't mistreating him, that's being honest.

These are football managers that are trying to win games, and Carroll's someone who's going to be getting close to £100 thousand pounds a week. Why pussyfoot about and give him another six months in a system that's going to alienate him more than any comments ever have, when you can actually raise his value by having him go and play in a style that suits him down to the ground?

It makes complete sense, Carroll isn't a striker that Rodgers can properly utilise, and his wages are substantial.

Carroll is never going to be first choice at Liverpool. Everyone can see that. There's no point being delicate about the situation. It would be bad for the player and the club.

Well put.

It's clear that MC Dempsey will be a Liverpool player tomorrow, at least to me. Happy to have the Deuce onboard, gives us some experience, some fight and power ahead of the likes of Allen and Sahin, and he can stick the ball in the net.

What channel is Liverpool match on?

ESPN.

Ray stubbs. Interesting fact, my mum lived across the road from Ray Stubbs growing up and her best friend went out with him.

I hope Carroll has a stormer at WHU, he deserves to shake that price tag off, especially as its not of his making, Damn you COMOLLI!!!!!!!

Duncan Castles is saying that Nani won't be sold before he end of the transfer window and that United are willing to reopen negotiations with him.

Pretty tough sell.

Not that great a player tbh, and DM isn't a flashy position. Into last few months of contract and it's clear he won't be signing a new one so basically, Milan know City have to sell now or never. And the Gold Tie.

What would be a "fair value" for De Jong? £10m? Then consider Milan know City don't really want him, and that he's on a free before too long.

Marwood's done well just to get him out the door.

I don't agree about getting him out the door being worth it alone. His salary is a relatively modest £60k per week -- anyone we sign to replace him is probably going to cost more. At this point, I'd rather have seen him see out his contract and move on a free. £3.5m is nothing to City so what's the point?

I'm not a big fan of his necessarily for what it's worth, but having a true enforcer can be invaluable.

Guys where can I find the the Champions League fixtures date and times?

It is really important!

UEFA still have not updated their website...

18th Sept - City (H)
03 Nov - Ajax
24th Oct - Dortmund (A)
06 Nov - Dortmund (H)
21 Nov - City (A)
04 Dec - Ajax

Sorry I am not 100% sure when the Ajax game is H or A

Not that it matters but PSV has scored 8 goals already vs Zeta Golubovci. In total that would be 13 goals over 2 matches. 15 mins left! 10 10 10! Makes you wonder what kind of teams Zeta did beat to even get here. o_o

... So we will have only Ajax & PSV in Europe this season. I don't think the other 4 teams will make it. (Heerenveen won't, so bad!)

And Ajax will not do anything decent in the CL so this will be one of the worst years in Dutch football that I can think of. Include the Euro Cup and well.... :/

Twente will pull through

Just realised, Spearing and Adam off, does that mean Suso will get his contract and a call up to Melwood?

Suspect both he and Agger will get their contracts sorted when the window closes. Unless there is a serious attitude problem, it would be madness for Rodgers to let him run down his contract.

Is 80k normal in England? Welbeck, Berbatov and now Andy? That's as much as Cavani is earning with Napoli.

And we're allegedly paying 33k for Based Bendtner.

Man that's great news. Hope it's true.

Because how many games will he play for City this year? City don't really want him, they've signed Rodwell and have Yaya and Barry and even Milner who could play there.

Sure, £3.5m isn't that much. But it's still something and, I don't mean to sound like a dick here, but City fans probably don't appreciate small transfer fee's right now. United spend big too, but if there is a player who is more or less on his way out, £3.5m can make a difference to the over-all spending plans. If City now want to behave as most other clubs do, then small sales will be important because they all add up.

Aside from that. It's obvious City have decided to sell before they buy, probably with a view to wages. It's only 60k, but that might be the difference in them sanctioning the purchase of a player who wants £150k a week, or saying, no, it's too much.

Sky Italia: #mcfc have blocked John Guidetti's proposed move to Siena and told him he is wanted and needed at the club right now.

After almost two years of physiotherapy and light training after my knee blew up, I was due to have my first proper game of football tomorrow night. On the way to work today I slipped and fucked up my ankle so now can't even walk.

I feel like Lucas :(

I bet his English is already spot on?

Ask Spanish Wrath. Doesn't frequent every day though so might be best PM'ing him.

Speaking German.

It's his dream to play for Liverpool apparently. Looks like Ozil.

Ah man, that's terrible. I can't wait to get back to University to play a shit ton of football.

Blatantly because you're a goal down against PSG in the nextgen game!

Just about to say this! We lost EVERY game last season in Next Gen. Got our arses handed to us big time.

BREAKING: Inter owner Massimo Moratti confirms Maicon is leaving the club live on Sky Italia. Now all we lack is City's announcement.
