Saint Seiya Omega - Episode 27
Good episode, but not super-amazing. Luckily I already had lower expectations after the preview. This is a pretty solid conclusion to the current arc which has been pretty lackluster aside from some stronger episodes. Some characters have better backstories compared to others, and I really like the Eden/Aria one, so they saved the best for last.
My feelings about this episode are pretty similar to how I felt about the first episode of the show. It looks good, there are pretty colors, but I don't really like how obvious the direction of the episode becomes once it starts. It feels like every moment is telegraphed about 2-3 scenes before it actually happens, and I find that pretty boring. Ep3, 10, and 20 were much better imo. Ep1 and 27 are on par.
Oh, I also dislike the "bunch of characters transform into pretty rainbows and smash against a giant silhouette" type of action. It's really lame. Gimme a good fist fight any other day.
