Can someone confirm if the sonng sampled on Art of Peer Pressure is credited in the album notes? I'd be pretty disappointed if it isn't...

It is. They have R. Rask, which is the producer of Suspekt and the track, Helt Alene, as a co-writer along with two other names.

Cross-posting from GAF-Hop:

Shyne calls in to Cipha Sounds & Rosenberg to defend his comment about GKMC. He liked Fucking Problem but not GKMC and then praises Lupe LOLOLOL Shyne goes off though.

Also Kendrick on 106 & Park. This is actually a pretty good interview from what you'd expect from 106. He breaks down some lyrics from the album near the end too.

His top 3 lyricists of all time are Pac, Jay and Em.
not bad, always like to hear Kendrick's thoughts on shit. He has pretty good taste.

Ok so after listening to it a lot I dont think Im keeping Real or BSF. However, with some of the bonus tracks (not to mention C&C and The Heart pt 3), my opinion hasnt changed: AOTY, and best album since MBDTF, for me. So amazing.

Never really listened to a full Kendrick release but I always really liked the song rigomortis. Went to NYC Best Buy events and kids put me on to him. I'm really digging this album.

I'll admit, I think the first half of this album is alot better than the second one, but my favorite track is on the second half (Compton), so um yeah

I don't even live in the States and assuming from various Twitter + Facebook posts/pics + reviews it seems like Kendrick is everywhere right now

Compton is not even in my top 5, it doesn't stand out to me at all. I wasn't feeling it before the album leaked but with the context of the album its fine.
The Beats reference by Dre in the song....Ugh

The metacritic score went up to 91%, and XXL gave it a perfect score. I'm loving the praise that the album is getting.
Hopefully that will mean decent first week sales. When will we have he first numbers?

Last I saw he was projected to sell 220-240k.

One major problem I have is how is he going to perform this album live with all the random accents and voice effects he uses in this album. It will be tough no doubt. I also saw a video of Kendrick playing Money Trees live at best buy, and the crowd was singing along etc and whenever the crowd said "ya bish" it just sounded corny as hell.

After "downloading" the album, I rode out to Best Buy yesterday and bought the deluxe edition of g.o.o.d kid maad city, Kendrick deserved my 15 bucks

I picked it up the other day at Target. They had the deluxe for $12 and it had 2 more extra tracks that were exclusive to Target (lol). I hate this deluxe album bullshit.

I'm liking it a lot. I wish I would have saw him in concert when he was in D.C. not too long ago.

I've been bumping the album the past few days and it grew on me. However, production doesn't convince me. Only beats I remember are Money Trees, mAAd City and The Recipe. Also I don't understand why the fack he didn't put the skits as separate "songs". Great to listen them the first few times, but after that?

All these kendrick fans popping up left and right due to the buzz behind it. It's an ok album, but damn like it's not even up there as the way people making it out to be.
