Man, that was a really close vote.
The poor supported Obama, which will result in the destruction of the nation, altering the lives of everyone in the US forever.
I had previously been a DeToqueville Society member of the United Way, donating fairly substantial sums. I cancelled my donations yesterday. I refuse to provide monetary support to people who destroyed the nation. I guess they can get all thier money from Obama.
I had two scholarships to the local Catholic High School and one to our state university- cancelled. To hell with Obama supporters.
Agreed. And they made every future-born child an automatic slave to the government. There is no need for donations in a socialistic nation that forces these things anyway.
Every time a Republican mentions Ronald Reagan, an angel gets its wings.
Yeah you have people saying they will quit their jobs just to collect. Sure, because being on welfare is so great. And he's not trying to expand welfare. Raising the Taxes is mostly to pay off debt, not give out more goodies.
Man, I forgot about the racist TSgt I had in Iraq. This is a fun one.

The sheer stupidity.
Today I learned that HillaryIs44 is still around and they're still upset
Ah, didn't know this.Hilary is 44 no longer supports Hilary.
I think they view her as a traitor to her own cause, and are now supporters of Republican policies.
LMAO, this one is local and on that mourning page. Oh I should've stayed in town and went to the bars that night.
Conservative GAF, I know you're reading this thread. If you want to know why, at least part of it, minorities don't vote for your party, this is why:
People know when they aren't welcome. Change for your party needs to start from within, that means YOU.
This is such a fascinating thread. Seems a lot of people haven't arrived in the 20th century yet, let alone the 21th.
While I do know what you mean and relate, I think that there will eventually be a net positive effect. All of these legitimate, not just "sky is falling" apocalyptos, but legitimate racists and bigots coming out of the woodwork will force the rational mainstream of their party to unify in a real way if they hope to succeed. And those people must exist. Their voices are just soft, and drowned out by people claiming that we voted "for slavery over freedom" (holy crap is that offensive by the way). It's hard to enjoy the victory when people really do feel like that.

Wait, Michael Reagan doesn't like Obama? I could've sworn that he was pro-Kerry and pro-Obama back in the day. He used to show up on like... Marc Maron and Colmes's radio shows and stuff. Hilarious.
Here's more data ( FNC, yes, but the data is fine ) http://www.foxnews.com/politics/elections/2012-exit-poll/US/President
You are correct. Fox is trying to manufacture a scandal, rather unsuccessfully.Am I missing something, or is this just more insane birther-level conspiracy theory crap?
Mitt Romney lost the election because President Barack Obama engaged in voter suppression, according to Republican political strategist Karl Rove.
"He succeeded by suppressing the vote," Rove said in an interview on Fox News with anchor Megyn Kelly on Thursday afternoon, "by saying to people, 'You may not like who I am and I know you can't bring yourself to vote for me, but I'm going to paint this other guy as simply a rich guy who only cares about himself.'"
Ok, this may or may not be the place to ask this, but it's been bugging me and my research isn't providing anything useful...
What, exactly, did Obama supposedly do wrong in regards to the Benghazi attack? I keep hearing about it in the context of stuff like "oh, Obama's going to lose the foreign policy debate because of Benghazi" and then in this thread, I'm seeing constant references to how he supposedly let the victims of the attacks get killed.
I remember hearing about the attack when it happened, but I didn't follow any of the coverage of the aftermath, so I'm pretty confused as to what these people are talking about. All I can find is nitpicking over whether or not he called it a terrorist attack and something about how extra security was denied in Tripoli (600+ miles away from Benghazi).

We already knew Rove is a cunt. He should have put all that super-PAC money to something useful, like a charity, or Planned Parenthood (LOL)
Clinic worker fired over Facebook post referring to Obama as the 'N-word'

LOL @ anyone who voted for Bush twice, complaining about Obama destroying the country. You chose to stay the course straight to economic ruin with a president everyone in the world knew was terrible at his job. It's now time for you to sit down, shut up and let the grown ups handle this mess. You should've cared about the economy 8+ years ago, like the rest of us.
from that white people mourning romney blog comes this very attractive young lady.

I wish to console her, gaf. And stroke her beautiful curly hair.
PCCstudent: i just finished reading Killing Lincoln, wonder if I will ever get a chance to read Killing Obama
She was probably in a foul mood. Better find a hot and excited Obama supporter.

It's all a ploy to make Obama appear weak on foreign policy. Remember when 9/11 happened and Democrats nitpicked George W Bush on how weak he was on foreign policy? Neither do I. The bottom line is a select group of people launched an attack on a consulate and killed four Americans. Instead of uniting and insisting the criminals be hunted down, the right appears to be pointing fingers and playing politics. The President said it best: "This is offensive, and not how a Commander-in-Chief acts."
sad, angry sex is the best sex.
This a troll post? Cant tell anymore.I'll go ahead and satirically represent jaekwon15 since he went AWOL:
1) Obama will only deepen the deficit with unnecessary and wasteful government spending and welfare programs. Romney would have made the cuts necessary to keep our country wealthy and strong (read: cuts to education, welfare and public service jobs like law enforcement and firefighting) all the while...
2)Lowering taxes on the top 1%. Even though no one I personally know is part of the top 1%, they are our 'job creators' and are the ones who have made America the superpower she is today. Obama's tax hike will only damage that legacy and lead to further economic ruin.
3) Let's ignore the fact that Romney created a similar healthcare system for his home state when he was Governor. Obamacare just goes too far and the death panels it will create will mean that people are judged and left to die without ever seeing the inside of a hospital all at increased cost to the American taxpayer!
4)My pet industry didn't see benefit and...
5) Any drops in unemployment or boom in the economy are due to job creators and business owners banding together to weather through the terrible policies of the Obama administration.I am fairly confident that most of the Republican base in America is firmly against self-reflection to the point that they are psychologically incapable due to the tired and true method of:
which has only be further proven by most of the responses to the election that I've seen.
There are a few, most of which I have seen on GAF (Sunflower, Tex) that give me hope. But not many.
This a troll post? Cant tell anymore.
Lol I feel better now. People do believe this though.Yeah, that got me at first, but read the top line again. A good Poe.

This has very quickly become my favorite thread on GAF.
Mother of God...the shear amount of hyperbole being expressed by conservatives![]()
Kinda feel bad posting this being that she is a nice person, I just don't like the fact they think only the Right has morals and principles.
This thread is the highlight of election season. It's all been leading up to this.
After two failed Presidential attempts, it's obvious that the GOP needs to retool their entire platform for modern times. Obama didn't so much win yesterday as the GOP absolutely and completely failed. Here's some tips:
- Promoting smaller government is fine, if you're actually for smaller government. When the GOP owned the house in the aughts, they didn't actually decrease spending, they just spent money on their own projects instead. You also can't be a proponent of smaller government and believe that our over-funded, over-built, and inefficient military should be left untouched for little reason than 'THE COUNTRY WON'T BE SAFE!!!!!!!' That's not acceptable. If we take the knife to everything else, the military can't be a sacred cow. We can maintain many of our functions without spending so bloody much money on it.
- The GOP need to stop being so inclusive. You may as well call it the WASP party, which is a shame because so many bright, young people who would probably be excellent conservatives will feel aligned with the Democrats because they're gay, Muslim, or their skin is tinged slightly darker than pale white. Embracing incredibly strict Evangelist Christian beliefs as your platform and opposing gay marriage, embracing Shariaphobia, and maintaining an expensive war on drugs is not a valid answer anymore. This is 2012, not 1955.
- The GOP's platform can't simply be the opposite of what Obama does. In 2008, all we heard about was birth certificates (ugh) and Obama's inexperience. In 2012, we heard about Benghazi (ugh) and Obamacare. The GOP has not produced any solution to health care reform, they simply parrot the opposite of what Obama says. As tragic as Benghazi was, you can't win an election on that. While Romney ads were slamming Obama, Obama's were optimistic and avoided mentioning Romney by name. The GOP has looked like a bunch of sourpusses.
It's time to grow up, GOP. You need better ideas and you need better people. Let's get out of our bubble and start thinking for once.
It's an unfortunate misconception that it's nothing but old fogies who are the hardcore conservatives. There are plenty of 50 and 60 year old boomers who were the pot smoking liberal hippies in the 60's and 70's.As looking at the age of some of these people you have some young hardcore racists on the come up.
Don't look for gun control right away, O needs to see that muslims are throughly armed, as well as other factions.
Nothing like a bloody civil war to reign in control and have the EU take over. Besides the arms industry needs US.

The sheer stupidity.
She's still in High School and acting like she's a taxpayer. Probably just spouting off what she heard from her parents.
A quick Google search finds many of these people even outside their accounts. Hopefully some of them get scholarships and/or jobs taken away for these stupid comments showing their true personalities.
