I bought GameStop's for $75. They replace the system if anything is wrong.$80 for protection plan. What say you, GAF?
This is the same error I was getting last night. Tried again this morning and it is still not working. If anyone figures out how to fix this, please let me know.

Also, I love how Rogers doubled the download speeds of the express package which is what I have. This update is at 90% in 45 minutes and should be done in 15.
Wii U get!!!
Now to not get mugged on the walk back to my car, lol.
We ended up getting one after about 45 minutes; I think the allocations for the stores in the area may have been messed up. A manager was coming back from another store with extra Deluxe systems. Not impressed with Walmart in general, but that manager was great! All layaway orders were to be held in a cage in the back room. You got screwed. I'd go back and speak with the manager.
So black ops is laggy I am hearing, any gaffers got impressions?
Hah, they only had 3 deluxe and one regular.Sadder if they only have 5 systems
Seriously - every store around me (NJ) got a handful of systems (15 max). Glad I trekked to the city last night to grab on at Nintendo World.
In other news - just hooked it up and the update is about 25% done, after waiting 15 minuites of so. Still sucks, but i expected worse after reading some posts last night.
I didn't even get a bag.I triple bagged!
My controller is charging....can I start the system and download the update while it keeps charging or do I have to wait?
Well fuck. Apparently I had to pre-order the black pro controller.
indeed, I'm around 3/4 done though...This first update is taking forever!![]()
It's pretty big but if your pack is wide it might fit.Think the box would fit in a standard sized backpack?
They may sell it as an additional accessory.![]()
Looks like Nintendo already have a plan for a bigger battery for the controller.
Yeah. Sony sold larger and higher capacity batteries for PSP as well. They may sell it as an additional accessory.
It's best to have the system use your TV's native resolution (720p in this case), that will give you a sharper picture and less latency. Other than that there's no problem having the system output 1080p.TV question for anyone. I have a 720p TV. The system detected 1080p. I assume that the TV can grab the signal and just alter it back down to 720p. My PS3 auto detects 1080p as well. Is there a problem with letting the any system be set on 1080p if the TV isn't officially labeled as such?
Is it confirmed that 3DS prepaid cards work on the Wii U's eShop? Canada always gets Nintendo's prepaid cards months after everywhere else so I won't be able to purchase from the Wii U's eShop for a while if the 3DS cards don't work.
I have an extra $20 3DS card, and I was hoping I could use it for NSMBU. If nobody confirms it first, I'll test it out whenever my update finishes downloading.
But if it's like the Wii & DSi points cards it should.
I was going to buy one but then realized none of the games I bought support it. If you have BLOPS, Batman, AC3 or Mass Effect it might be worth it.What is the point of the pro controller? My best buy has them in stock. Worth a buy or no?

This is necessary though. The battery will probably degrade over time.Nice to know that the gamepad battery can be upgraded in the future, clever nintendo.
