Most game systems are branded by important milestones trough out their life cycles. Be it by games, hardware or busyness decisions that forge the device evolution path. For example, the Wii after the outstanding success that was Wii Sports took another breath of fresh air with had WiiFit. Then it came Wii Motion + to refine even more what was already a very inventive controller. MS had the Kinect which helped them solidify the 360 as America's best selling console for more than 22 consecutive months.
I was thinking we could let our imaginations run free and share what we think some of this significant forces might end up being.
Software:
-Thinking what Nintendo could come up in terms of a new IP, it occured to me that an all stars card fighting game might be in the company's plans. Nintendo has been very quite about the Wiiu Pad NFC. I could totally see Nintendo wanting to employ figurines but that idea has been already being used by activition. Giving the companies story cards using NFC are a good match. Maybe they'll do both a game and a phycial version of the card game.
HardWare:
-More than likely a WiiU Gamepad +. Better screens, longer battery life and maybe multi touch.
-Range boosters for the signal, so the full potential of gaming everywhere around the house could be realized.
-An stylus with a presure sensitive button and motion sensors. Think of it as Wiiremote stylus, so you can both use the touch screen and have extra input options. Great fit for a new Zelda game.
Went a lil crazy with speculations, what sort of things any of you could see making significant impact on the console?
