Wait, there's no lock-on?
lock-on is "archaic" like DMC3 and 4

Wait, there's no lock-on?
I wonder if I appear on that twitter. A brief skim didn't reveal anything.
lol, what? Did I miss something?

The interview with the "60FPS hurts your eyes", or the one where they said they wanted to remove the lock on for previous games?
I thought they were the same interview. But I mean the lock on one.
The omission of manual lock-on was largely a collaborative decision between Ninja and Itsuno-san (Director on DMC 2,3, and 4). Itsuno-san said he had always wanted to get away from the lock-on and that desire coupled with the fact the Angel mode was taking a button away on the control pad combined was a large part of the reason we went with the auto lock which IMO feels pretty good

Even DMC1 had lock-on. Your argument is invalid.
ROFL this can't be serious. The fact that it begins with "Read it and weep, haters" makes it difficult to take as serious or unbiased.
I don't get jokes on the internet anymore. T_T
The marketing for Tomb Raider would make it seems like a rape revenge flick, but without the rape.
ROFL this can't be serious.
Yes I am weeping at the current state of game journalism.u weepin yet!?
IDK... the plot sounds nearly identical to Far Cry 3, but that stars a dude (who still almost gets raped at some point, if it matters).
Whatever happens in DmC, I can rest easy knowing the main character won't be as annoying as Jason Brody of FC3
Actually read the last page to read their conclusion and right before it they said that the game is considerably easier than previous games and they were able to "tame Dante Must Die" without much frustration.
Don't know what to say to that... sounds like we have our first legit review for the game if they actually beat DMD mode all the way to post the review.

Well we'll what EDGE has to say about it. Their review is coming fairly soon. The magazine are already out in the mail.
You guys still EDGE in high esteem, don't you?

Don't you get it? Jason Brody is us! His journey is a metaphor for a millenial's experience in videogame escapism!
I might not even play DMD if just the same game but with DT'd enemies
cuz fuck that noise
It has more enemies and remixed enemies. They hit harder, block more, attack more and have a shit ton of HP. And by remix enemies I do mean that... like the first encounter of the demo you fight the basic enemies in SoS mode but in DMD mode you fight those then like beefed up versions of the basic enemies (think like palette swap harder enemies of the same kind in old school beat em ups).I might not even play DMD if just the same game but with DT'd enemies

Don't you get it? The demons are the 1%! Virgil's transition from sexy hero into tiny headed t-rex is a metaphor for the corrupting nature of power and wealth!
Okay, I know the Virgil rumour was bullshit, but you shouldn't be pointing out bad gaming metaphors when you want to defend this game. [/spoiler]
Ninja Theory really needs a big hit. Talented mofos, they do some great things with characters and world design.
Heavenly Sword sold 1.7 million, fyi. Not a low number and not easy to top.

Yeah I can't wait for the Bill O'Reily look alike to call Donte a sexual deviant throughout the game among other shocking slurs, while Fox News' owner has demon butt sex with a half dead succubus. All while Donte educates the fat and clueless denizens about the dangers of soda.
Dare I say the whole thing sounds absolutely Anarchic to me!
The Xbox360 magazine review (9/10) is "out".
It's a very solid review, and well written. It also has an interview with NT after it. It's an enlightening one, to say the least.
German Play3 magazine gives 89% to the PS3 version. Level design shall be amazing.

DMC4 sold 2.6 million copies and Heavenly Sword sold at least 1 million. Enslaved was flop though with only about 0.5 million copies.
