Man LEGO LotR for under $10 sounds tempting over at greenmangaming...thing is, this is the kind of game I'd rather play on my PS3 for trophies...but the price is friggin' tempting >_<.
It has achievements, right?

Kind of a shame that neither FTL nor Hotline Miami do.

Kind of a shame that Hotline's don't work I mean.

It's fun at the start. You'll eventually reach a point where you realize it's far more efficient to just randomly match whatever you can as fast as you can to cause random mega chains from the top instead of strategically matching stuff. Once you hit that point it gets pretty dull.

It's not that long of a game, though. I've played it about 6 hours and I'm up to 6.5 Mil with everything maxed but my shield.

Lost Planet 2 is pretty tempting at 8$, but I guess my friends and I have better games to play... such as Revelations 2012.

Achievements have been unlocking in Hotline Miami for me. Some of them are way out of my league though. I will never have the reaction time or finesse to get A+'s

Steam isn't working for me, hasn't since chapter 4. I'm on the last chapter and steam still thinks I've only killed 1 dog.

It's really not that hard to get A+'s in Hotline Miami. one easy way to do it is just using the mantis mask that starts you with the drill and then drill executing everyone, I'm pretty sure that will guarantee you an A+ on every level.

Might and Magic Clash of Heroes if you don't have it yet.

agreed. pretty fun little game. couldn't care less about the story, not much into M&M lore. the game play is actually quite satisfying. Really enjoy some of the battles w/ specific objectives instead of just 'kill everything'

I dunno how they'd ever get any cheaper on GMG than they are now. You could get those games for around $5 or less with the discount code.

I should have said GMG or other places (steam, amazon).

Also, what code are you using? I only have the 20% code. Buying LP2 for sure. Is DR2 better or OTR?

Anyone want to trade my Amazon Dreamcast Pack (Crazy Taxi,Space Channel 5 Part 2, Sonic Adventure, Jet Set Radio and Sega Bass Fishing) for the GMG Lego LOTR deal? I have some other stuff I could offer too, PM.

Dead Rising 2 was incredible in co-op. I absolutely recommend it if you have a good partner. The same should apply to OTR, but I felt a bit of fatigue playing it even like 6+ months after 2 since it retreads a lot of the exact same ground.

Sold, buying OTR since I havn't played a DR game since first one came out.

Oh snap! These GMG deals seem to be asking me to spend money....

I hated the original Dead Rising on Xbox mainly because of the stupid save system, is OTR a 'better' version of Dead Rising at all?

Is Lost Planet 2 similar to the first one? I loved the first game on Xbox, is the multiplayer on the 2nd any good?

Dark Void Zero get?

From what I've gathered Dead Rising 2 and OTR are improvements over the first game. In DR2 at least the allies/NPCs aren't morons and can deal with zombies so long as they're not ganged up and thus won't die quickly/stupidly.

Do you need to do escort missions still?

I remember having to do one in the first game and it was I think about the time I threw the game in the bin...

Well that's how you save the survivors for the most part. You find them in an area and they follow you back to the safe house. There are other missions to do though, but I've forgotten much of DR2 as I had played years ago when it first came out on PS3.
I did beat with the True Ending however.
The game's main highlight is the ability to create zany weapons and killing dozens of zombies. One of the Achievements is for killing 50,000+ zombies lol.
Oh and maxing out the character to max stats/highest levels is hard on 1 playthrough, so you'd need to replay the game mroe than once. Furthermore some missions may be too hard on an initial playthrough but when your stats are high enough they should be easier to do.

Did you get all the cheevs :P

Come on! Get on the digital crack bandwagon. :P

EDIT - What do you mean by second credits if you didn't collect all the dots?

Ohhh the helmet dude, right.

I recommend Dark Void Zero, neat faux-retro 2D platformer with a jetpack.
