Something something stopped clock is right twice a day something something.Don't worry, everyone, at some point in this thread, agrees with Beam on something.
Haha, what? There´s absolutely no justifications or excuses to what Griffith did. He butchered his own troops so he can be a god. He is selfishness reincarnated. I can´t wait to see Guts rip him a new asshole.
Now look what you did, Beam and I agree on something. And for that I can never forgive you, Bass.
Be honest, if you had to choose between living life as a vegetable or letting everyone around you die to become a god what would you do? Also you spent the last year being horribly torched every day.
You know I'm right

Griffith should have taken his damn medicine. Nobody told him to break into Princess Charlotte's chamber. Nobody told him to sleep with her. Nobody told him to mouth off to the King. But his loyal comrades should be raped and murdered to pay for his mistakes and further his ambitions? HELL NO.

I can kind of sympathize with the guy though, yeah he was an idiot for fucking the shit out of the princess to try and get rid of his depression because Gutts left him, but after being tortured for a year his life was basically over. The guy couldn't stand, couldn't hold anything, was barely alive more or less living on will alone. If you had the option to sacrifice everyone around you to give yourself a "new life" as a god when your old life is basically over who wouldn't take that chance? Honestly I kind of wish Griffith had made it up to becoming King and then became angry and "wanted more" leading to him turning to the dark side.
In the end what happened to his Band of Hawks was terrible though, and I hope Gutts beats the shit out of Griffith when they finally meet again.
I used to say Yamatogawa but the fucker's schedule is the worst ever. I try not to discriminate in my porn tastes, but I have to be partial to Hisasi's gorgeous illustrations of curves --not to mention he totally gets what moé is about.Favourite artists? You gotta at least share that with us.
Oh my.For what it's worth this thread does get some posts about hentai manga every once in a while. There was that time everyone read and posted about Itokoi Chidori for like 50k pages.
I don't know anyone there. Meeting new people scares me.Not that I mind, but there's a monthly thread for comics.

So much development!
Little side note: Instead of rape, we get more Loli scenes, including a bathing accident, where she lands naked on sleeping Guts? Is that really better, Miura? No, it isn't! What is wrong with you?!
How bad did Katawa Shoujo get later on? I only managed to play it for like 2 hours before getting bored.
Also in case you didn't know, Koe no Katachi is getting serialized.
I think I'd rather have a genre shift than her becoming the new MC. She's godawful. All part of the plan for giving her the spotlight LOLOLOLOLOL.
As for the other stuff continue reading.
Joachim Kaps: "Have you ever expected BLEACH to become this popular?"
Tite Kubo: "It was never my intention to create a manga that becomes popular. I merely started drawing a story I wanted to draw."
Jo Kaps: "Is there any character that is particularly difficult to draw?"
Kubo: "Ichigo is very diffucult."
Jo Kaps: "What's so difficult about him?"
Kubo: "Pretty much everything." (*laughs*)
Jo Kaps: Then, would you say you made a bad choice in designing him this way?"
Kubo: "Well..." (*makes a broody face*) "I'm always wondering why Ichigo has so much screen time."
Jo Kaps: "Because he is the protagonist?"
Kubo: "You might be right." (*laughs*)
Jo Kaps: "Speaking of desing, would you ever desing characters for another medium that is not Bleach? Like characters for someone's video game?"
Kubo: "That would be very difficult for me, since I'm not good at guessing what other persons have on their mind regarding the matter in question. It might be easier if their mindset was close to mine."
Jo Kaps: "When coloring pages, do you use anything besides copic markers?"
Kubo: "Well, I sometimes sneak in a little bit colored pencil. I do, however, not use personal computers, since I lack experience in using them."
...continued...
Jo Kaps: "Many readers are wondering why you tend to draw minimalistic to no backgrounds and focus on the characters instead."
Kubo: "Backgrounds distract the reader from what's going on inside the character. Whenever I leave backgrounds out, this is to allow my readers to see the heart of the character."
Jo Kaps: "Besides manga, you also enyoy listening to music. But if you had to choose one of them..."
Kubo: "I could never give up manga." (Audience cheers for him)
Jo Kaps: "Some resourceful readers found out that you listen to music while drawing. Do you really?"
Kubo: "I do."
Jo Kaps: "And the music matches the scene? Like something calm when the character is deep in thougth or hard rock when there is a battle?" (Audience laughs)
Kubo: "Sometimes. The music is rather to support myself than something I choose to match the situation. One time I might listen to calm music when drawing a battle, the next time I might listen to hard sounds."
Jo Kaps: "Many mangaka have assistants that take over a part of the workload. Do you have any assistants?"
Kubo: "Yes, I have four."
Jo Kaps: "How do you distribute work?"
Kubo: "My assistants do [...] and the backgrounds." (
Jo Kaps: "Is there anything you would never allow an assistant to do? Something you absolutely want to draw yourself?"
Kubo: (*smiles*) "Explosions and other effects. They mirror a character's emotions."
Jo Kaps: "BLEACH is full of different languages. Quincys utilize the German language, the Arrancar name everything in Spanish. Fullbringers use English terms. Why?"
Kubo: "As for the Arrancar, I think that Spanish sounds very passionate and a little erotic, so it matches their wild lifestyle. German sounds cold, harsh and methodic, something that matches the straight-forward methods of the Quincys. I would also like to use French at some point, because it sounds very elegant. But I can't figure out a good way to include it into the story."
Jo Kaps: "Let's talk a little bit about the contents of BLEACH. Your German readers would like to know if they will be given more information about Ururu."
Kubo: "Ururu will stay a mystery. I might, however, change my mind, if revealing her background would benefit the story at some point."
Jo Kaps: "How about Grimmjow? Will he appear again?"
Kubo: "His fate will be revealed when the time has come." (Audience moans unpatiently)
Jo Kaps: "Why do Kaien and Ichigo look so much alike?"
Kubo: "That's what the manga in Japan is about right now."
Jo Kaps: "Well, that means we will also know in the forseeable future. Why is Aizen still alive?"
Kubo: "He is still necessary for the story."
Jo Kaps: "After Kaien died, why did Ukitake not choose a new Vice Captain for such a long time?"
Kubo: "Neither Sentaro nor Kiyone wanted to take that position, so they carried out the Vice Captain's tasks together als two 3rd Ranks."
Jo Kaps: "Is Ichimaru dead or does he, like Grimmjow, still have a chance to reappear?"
Kubo: "He is dead." (Audience groans in disappointment, me being the loudest one to complain) "It was the best for him to die there."
Jo Kaps: "You introduced Kugo Ginjo as the first Substitue Shinigami. Why having him as the first one, and not Ichigo?"
Kubo: "The way of turning a human into a Substitute Shinigami had to been known at the point Rukia turned Ichigo into one. How would she have known of the whole procedure, if she was the first person to ever turn somebody into a Substitute Shinigami?"
Jo Kaps: "Are there any stories you wanted to tell, but couldnt?"
Kubo: "Such an untold story exists for pretty much every single character, most of them were scrapped to to time issues. There is, for example, the story of what Grimmjow did before Aizen captured Hueco Mundo. I have this one all fleshed out, but could never tell it."
The Heartthe heart of the character
Kubo: "Backgrounds distract the reader from what's going on inside the character. Whenever I leave backgrounds out, this is to allow my readers to see the heart of the character."
I used to say Yamatogawa but the fucker's schedule is the worst ever. I try not to discriminate in my porn tastes, but I have to be partial to Hisasi's gorgeous illustrations of curves --not to mention he totally gets what moé is about.

Interview with Kubo in Germany
You might not like the other chapters then lulz.
plus eh she's just some girl that has a huge crush on the MC right now and she's actually useful (with bonus help from Griffith himself). Lets see if that will continue or she gets over it eventually.
So Ichimaru really is dead? Fuck Bleach.
So Ichimaru really is dead? Fuck Bleach.
You knew he was dead for two years.
Why is a confirmation going to change how you feel?
Lol what a troll
and who the fuck cares about Ururu.. I mean really.
AND AIZEN STILL IMPORTANT FOR THE STORY...
It's not her crush itself, but the way it's portayed, I guess.
I dont get at all what [...] is supposed to be.
But it is pretty funny if his assistants' main job is to do the backgrounds. They must put their feet up most of the time.
EDIT: oh and I though tit was so funny how he doesnt trust his assistants to draw the explosions.
Lol what a troll

AND AIZEN STILL IMPORTANT FOR THE STORY...
Well, I wouldn't mind if Kubo explained her story, but I don't think there is one. She's an Anti-Hollow robot and that's it.
And of course he's still important. He's going to be Ichigo's Vegeta.
Jinta was always a really good character, so I wouldnt mind some Ururu backstory if it involved both of them.
It's not her crush itself, but the way it's portayed, I guess.
Scrapped Grimmjow backstory?

But when minimalistic backgrounds are the norm, it loses impact. If you're really clever, you can achieve the effect while still have really detailed backgrounds:
so Kubo doesn't really have a leg to stand on.
Oh really? That's awesome. I wonder if it'll start from the beginning or continue from where the one shot leaves off?
As for Katawa Shoujo, I meant more the set up of just having a school set up just for people with various disabilities and the resulting hijinks that come out of that. I think it handled the issues fine, but obviously that set up doesn't allow for the theme of bullying to come out.
Kubo thinks the entirety of Bleach is like this, when it really isn't.And the drawing "focus to the characters" is hot air too. Removing backgrounds is a good tool to give a particular scene weight, or give the impression that time is standing still. For example like in:

Kiba no Tabishounin - The Arms Peddler
Set in a post-apocalyptic future the story centers around Souna Yuki whose entire family is murdered and he is left with a snake mark in his hand.
He is saved by an arms peddler named Garami in exchange for his servitude thus begin his journey through this twisted world.
One of the best things of this manga is the post-apocalyptic setting with elements of dark fantasy. Not only there is remains of the past civilization and technology but supernatural beings such as witches, necromancers, vampires, etc.
It helps that Souna does man up pretty quick and Garami is a hot badass.
.Yep. It's the way she tries to carry herself as if she's some all-knowing adult and acts like Guts is crazy for treating her like a child. It's the way she constantly insults/belittles Ishidro and buddies up with Farnese.
.
Tbf he is a monkey/a bit lacking at times but he realizes he's a just kid and wants to improve himself, so her (mostly her fairy tbh) ribbings pushes him to become that.
as for Farnese it sounds like you are still bitter about her tbh LOL
Kubo thinks the entirety of Bleach is like this, when it really isn't.
Are the enemies mostly similar to the ones you posted like that whale monster? Anyway, it looks interesting so added to the backlog.
You knew he was dead for two years.
Why is a confirmation going to change how you feel?
Kubo would've brought him back, if he was popular (same reason Byakuga didn't die), but I don't think he even ranked in the top 10 of the polls.
