With all the Berserk talk, I started flipping through random chapters of the manga and I just got a strong urge to go back and replay Dark Souls. Why won't DS2 come out already
I've come to the point where I replay it every now and then. I've played it so much I can get through it in a couple hours.

I don't necessarily agree with his specific reasoning, but it was fairly obvious he was doing it for artistic effect.

It's impossible to take this manga seriously in the middle part thanks to Katsumi acting like a cartoon villain and those thugs. Thankfully, it gets a lot better afterward when it concerns the school desperately trying to cover for Manami. She really is a magnificent bitch for the ages and the build up to her eventual breakdown was extremely well done. Seeing her go batshit insane as literally the entire student body turned on her was amazing.
And so that brings me to the real question. Are there translations I'm missing?! Did they really stop fucking translating this thing when Manami is trying to choke the life out of Ayumu?

I haven't been able to find any translations after volume 17 either, but maybe they exist somewhere. There are however Chinese raws so you can actually find out what happened to their fight.

Fun times. I still don't think I've reached my Yankee quota though. Still, in between the absolutely insane fights these idiots get into, I have to say probably my favourite takedown was the one the butt-monkey normal guy pulled during the summer vacation pool visit.
It's very interesting how there's not actually a 'friend group' so much as there is all the bosses in the school just sort of being forced into stupid situations

Hahaha, Fernese's mother is quite the woman. It makes me wish that Fernese had half of her character (and her looks, she's way hotter). The political drama that is about to unfold should be fun to watch. And all that in Florence out of all cities. Ah, I love it.
Now Serpico's actions were a bit surprising, but led to a highly entertaining fight. The very first time they fought, I was really surprised that he could somewhat keep up with Guts, but this fight was on a completely different level. And he didn't even use his magic gear. And that color page of him at the beginning of volume 30 was just beautiful.
The Kushan attacking the city was obviously foreshadowed, but the massacre at the ball was just cruel. But I have to admit, I laughed at it "oh shit, I shat my pants" look of Farnese's brother, right before the announcement.

Yea her mom is pretty Genre Savvy imo and if she was there more Farnese could have been better than her current self.
Serpico is pretty dope in trying to have most of the advatages in a fight and being sneaky as fuck. Although certain rules were set in the fight it was still pretty good.
Get ready for the crazy stuff that will be appearing really soon, Guts is such a boss lol (and i'm not talking about his fighting prowess here)

Well this got incredible. It feels so good to be back with basketball after that really lenghty fight and such, and all just for the sake of wanting to join the team. Regardless, Mitsui is an awesome addition and these four are just the utter best, best characters in the whole series and I couldnt ask for anything more. Hopefully they continue to remain problem players and deliver funny antics and interactions all throughout, love Rukawa, Mitsui, Ryota Miyagi, and Sakuragi. Everyone else in this series still looks way old on their team, outside of it I guess there is Sendoh, and Hikoichi is great enthusiasm and excitement. Hope this game is continues to be good and best moment was on the sidelines when Anzai asked if they had learned their lesson from fighting, lol.

Aizen is definitely still important. Kubo has to tie his motives in with the Soul King eventually.

Well the true first game of major proportions was amazing and no doubt will be memorable. I think it was an excellent introduction of the key players skills and just the high caliber basketball skills that the other teams have. Was in tears for Shoyu as they lost by so few points there after putting up such a huge fight against Shokoku. Rebound King Sakuragi was stunning, Rukawa scoring so many points as the superstar rookie, and Mitsui there just going and going and going all the way up to the 2.5minute mark looking so exhausted but pulling through as hard as he could. First time Ive felt ever in this series where I just couldn't stop and had to keep going and the big moment, the Slam Dunk (offense charge? what?) was so worth it all.
