Gintama 437
Ho-lee fuck, this has surpassed my expectations.
Of course Shinpachi is still boring.

The most obvious conclusion to draw from this is that its not going to last super long.
Im looking for a manga with a post-Apocalypse world but in the real world, no magic, no strange stuff, does that exist ?

Such an untold story exists for pretty much every single character, most of them were scrapped to to time issues. There is, for example, the story of what Grimmjow did before Aizen captured Hueco Mundo. I have this one all fleshed out, but could never tell it.
Hehe. The part with the backgrounds definitely does.
"I don't want backgrounds, because 'the heart'"
"Then what do your assistants do?"
"They draw the backgrounds."
Grimmjow definitely got a power up since he sliced Kirge in half like nothing.I'm sure he got a free power-up, to be able to keep up with Ichigo's and the rest. A more tsundere Aizen as Vegeta would be more fun, though.
The interviewer asked him about Ururu. And yes i would love it if Kubo had the time to flesh out all of his characters. I loved Starrk, Barragan, Nnoitra and Grimmjow´s flashback even though they were short but to the point and it contributed to their characters. Nnoitra´s flashback is my favorite among the arrancar because of his dynamic with nel.Lol what a troll
and who the fuck cares about Ururu.. I mean really.
AND AIZEN STILL IMPORTANT FOR THE STORY...
Mangagaf always butthurt about Bleach. Great interview but this should make it to the story somehow.
I really liked his explanation about Ginjou being the first sub shinigami.
Hehe.

Mael, i told you that Gin is dead.
Jo Kaps: "I think it's about time for some drawing, isn't it?"
Kubo: "Alright. What do you want me to draw?"
Kubo's companions pick four people from the audience, each one may choose one character from BLEACH. Post-timeskip Hitsugaya and child Nel (audience complains, wanting to see adult Nel) are picked first, Kubo draws them like this: Crying Nel is clinging onto an irritated Hitsugaya's left shoulder. Hitsugaya stands in 3/4 profile, his head turnded towards Nel. The next pairing is Ulquiorra (leading the audience to boo at the girl who picked him) and Yoruichi (audience applauds in agreement). Kubo draws Yoruichi in the bottom right corner, having jumped down from one of Hueco Mundo's giant red pillars and still falling, looking back over her right shoulder with a stern face. Ulquiorra jumps after her, his right hand extended towards Yoruichi's back. [Note: The drawing process was recorded and will most likely be made availible via internet.]
This quote brought to you by grammar.
Bleach
Haha yes. Ulquiorra is shit.
This quote is brought to you by i don´t give a shit about grammar.
I really can't fathom who wanted to see Grimmjow more. I mean, other than DTL.Mangagaf always butthurt about Bleach. Great interview but this should make it to the story somehow.

Will do.If you find a vid of the session, please link that here.
I liked Grimmjow since he was first introduced.I really can't fathom who wanted to see Grimmjow more. I mean, other than DTL.

I liked Grimmjow since he was first introduced.
Didn't you also tell us that Byakuya and Kenpachi were dead.
Good Ending 45
What are the odds of this happening? This is TLR level of accidentally falling on girls.
Shou's parents are pretty cool, they should have been introduced much earlier.
Good Ending 46 - 54
I really feel like we are just recycling plotlines at this point. Same misunderstandings, Yuki keeps changing sides, and Oonumura is still causing more awkward scenarios with Seiji. And now this Tooru will start showing up and fucking things up with Yuki.
7 Seeds
Caught up. A+. Would read again. Good jobharu vs mozu.
it's also strangely charming once you get past chapter 1
It is very charming.
The translation can make it pretty confusing though.
What your impressions ofthe dogs dying?

And people hate Griffith for the Eclipse and can't find any reason why he did what he did?
Also yeah the mafia in HxH is shit, but they're normal people compared to most things and we all know how shit people without Nen are in HxH...
There is no motivation that can justify what he did. GRIFFITH MUST DIE.
But they're the Mafia. The criminal underworld should have a greater understanding of nen and some real firepower in their employ. Otherwise, how did they ever manage to become the Mafia?
well they had like... kurapika in their employ. It doesn't make sense they got worfed as bad as they did but aren't the spiders so good they practically worf the entire planet?
Hmm. It was bound to happen sooner or later it seemed. Ayu's explanation on overbreeding and starvation made it evident that something was going to happen. Who would've thought it was the mushrooms though. The way the dogs died was kind of in line with most of the deaths so far, dying for the sake of others and the living go on to respect that fact rather than break down and be helpless. Reminds me of Slaughterhouse Five, and so it goes.
Apologies. Typing on a phone sucks.
For idiotic reasons.Gyro (or Jayro, dunno why they changed it in the French translation)
LIFE 01
I WASN'T READY FOR THIS

No, one low ranking member of the Mafia hierarchy employed Kurapika as a bodyguard. Their 10 main enforcers died in a single night. But it's also about how the Mafia was totally out of the loop for the entire arc. They were clueless about pretty much everything throughout and the 10 most influential members of the organisation end up dying off-screen without ever seeing it coming.
Kubo's chatting a load of crap about that Backgrounds being distracting. They give characters grounding and a sense on place, Bleach regularly feels like the characters are floating in a white fog because of the lack of backgrounds.
And the drawing "focus to the characters" is hot air too. Removing backgrounds is a good tool to give a particular scene weight, or give the impression that time is standing still. For example like in:
But when minimalistic backgrounds are the norm, it loses impact. If you're really clever, you can achieve the effect while still have really detailed backgrounds:
so Kubo doesn't really have a leg to stand on.
Didn't you also tell us that Byakuya and Kenpachi were dead.
so its not okay for kubo to not draw backgrounds in some random panels
but its okay for oda to take to pages and not draw a single background

Fun fact is that the death scene of Byakuya looked more like a death scene than for Gin, look who got the axe....No. I told you only about Byakuya.
The problem here is that when xmas is everyday it stops being special.
It's actually more distracting to have a lack of BG than the reverse for any 2 panels.
Oda use it to make the scene special (and btw he's not alone in that, check Clamp, Togashi... it's actually pretty common, kind of like how in movies you only have the sound and no image to get the required mood or something).
Anyway it's not just Oda vs Kubo here.
No Gin´s death was not shit at all. It was great especially after we knew his motives.First,
.
so we'll see, I stand by my statement.that Gin's death sequence was shit
It´s the quincy who took Allon´s beatings like nothing. Why? because 3 lamass Arrancars who got oneshotted before couldn't lay a hand on him?
If anything just by rule of surprise attack he didn't need any powerup. He cut the guy in half after all!
Before he met Aizen. Also we already had the backstory of Grimmjow, what more does need to be said about him that we don't already know?
Dem fighting wordsThere's literally 10 characters we know less that need a flashback more than this let down of a Vegeta/Hiei.
