Frequently Asked Question

Are the featured games further discounted?
No. The Featured Games list is just a spotlight on some cool (and sometimes good) games.

^Well the game just got released, but for its really worth its current price =)

Gah I was too slow =P

Saw Steam and Sale in the thread title and my wallet began to cry, just out of habit.

Nothing interesting there yet for me, though.

In for the Penny Arcade combo for $3, I've always meant to play them.

Does Half-Minute Hero on Steam have any content that the XBLA version doesn't have?

Can someone clarify something wrt A Valley Without Wind for me?

I thought A Valley Without Wind 1 purchasers got the second game for free, but they're being sold separately. Also, they're 3.74 each, but the combo pack of the two is also 3.74?

I get it, it's only available in combo pack form. Duh.

Such a bad sale. Most discounts are pretty mediocre and dont reach the price these games went for before.

Everyday Shooter is 75% .... any chance of being more on a summer sale ?

This being an exception. Grab it, it likely wont go lower than 75% and I'd say the chances of it appearing in a bundle are rather low.

I believe you had to already own 1 to get 2. I don't know what it is now that 2 is already out though.

Since when is Half Minute Hero an indie game?

Indie these days generally includes smaller publishers like XSeed (in the same way that independent music doesn't imply you have no record label, it implies your record label is not a major multi-billion dollar corporation like Sony or EMI)

Yes I am seething with rage right now.

's not good for you man, may I suggest some deep rhythm therapy?

In all seriousness, what's wrong with posting a negative opinion about a game even if it is less than a big mac? How dare someone feel that a game is bad enough to not have people supporting it's crap with money and letting them make a better purchase choice? I dunno, seems stifling for no reason.

Is steam dragging of anyone else? I'm browsing these mad indie sales and its taking 30+ seconds to load each page.

No one knows what an Indie Game is anymore. This is not the place to discuss that definition.

I like to view game development like baseball. There is a Major league and a minor league.

But should I wait for the daily deals?

Normally yes, but since these are low price indie games, the difference between 33%, 50%, and 66% isn't that huge.
