Think about how much money they pour into those cutscenes, ugh. Yet throwing a grenade still looks like you're pitching a wiffle ball. One of the big boy war shooter devs needs to do multiplayer only. It looks nice though, I'm sure I'll enjoy it as much as bf3.

I don't know about you guys, but that was fucking awesome. Definitely an improvement graphics wise along with some interesting single player mechanics. Hype + 4

c'mon son you need a high framerate for these GIFs.

Graphics are good.

But playing bioshock makes me wonder what these devs can do to spice up the modern military shooter story..

Drop single player all together?? Would many people even care?

Well...

Story in a game is like a story in a porn movie. It's expected to be there, but it's not that important.

Too bad story now costs millions of dollars to implement thanks to gigantic development teams and rising expectations.

Looked great. Especially the end with the copter chase. Really need some MP gameplay though. I guess the main player giving orders is kind of what commander might be like in 4. Kind of disappointing if they dumb it down that much.

Omg!!!
The mp is gonna be glorious

Its better than no commander at all ala BF3

Will backing up Hanna becoming the new protecting Lara?

BF4 looks alright. I'll buy it, I'll play it, I'll enjoy it. But it still looks like Battlefield 3, only slightly improved. In no way am I convinced about the whole "BF3 uses 30% of Frostbite 2, BF4 uses 70-80%" quote.

Also, to me, it looks like this was played with a controller of some kind. The aiming movements seem way too angular to be a mouse. PS4 version?

It should be like this on PS4, otherwise ill pass. BF3 looks good enough for PS3.
And it looks like MW2 with better graphics and sound, outside of the vehicle parts, ofc.

Got bored during first half... last bit was pretty cool. I'm expecting more out of the multiplayer trailers though (if we see that any time soon).

By the way.... dat bass. Needs more wub wub.

Graphics are fucking incredible.

Can someone gif the Chinese girl's face at the end? I had to double check on that cause at first glimpse it looked real to me, lol.

Everything else it's what you'd expect from the cinematic military shooter of course, but damn, are the graphics impressive.

Woah, the model/animation on Hanna (I assume that's her name) at the end is way better than everything else in the trailer. What gives?

Lol I noticed this too. A clear step up in quality from every other character model in the game. I'd guess PS4 version would look just as good as this or better(atleast it should). Driving down the road at the end with the waves coming up on the road looked amazing. Plus the destructible environments are nice!

Damn, that was pretty great. Awesome graphics. But the AI kind of seemed dumb? Ah well, its a spectacle i want, and spectacle i shall get.

Looks fantastic visually. The middle section of open gameplay looked awesome. Shame it was wrapped around ~8minutes of only sometimes interactive cutscenes. Still, looking forward to it.

To be fair, the level does seem a bit bigger and more open than anything in 3. But yeah... nothing mind-blowing. Interested to see more though.

Yeah. I think the setting of this "Prologue" is what made it less interesting to me. I love BF3 but I've seen enough deserts in that game to not be excited by this.

I'm taking requests for GIFs as well. Giving me approximate times in the video will expedite the process.

Is this a different engine to Battlefield 2? Just imagine Mirror's Edge 2 with this quality!

I try, but all I can imagine is EA retooling Mirror's Edge into something with lots of guns. :(

If they provide more interesting settings with nice tension-building moments like the bird-swarm, I'll be interested in playing. Otherwise I'm just going right into the MP.

Very impressive visuals and tech with a campaign that seems better than BF3 but still too much scripted explosions that has become all too standard these days. Not much to say on the game play either, very standard stuff.

COD has stiff competition this year. Like if I was into military shooters and I could only get one... I might get BF4.

If this is start of gen tech/graphics I can't imagine 5-6 years from now.
