I liked the Lex from the cartoons, serious and competent and suave with the right hint of menace beneath the surface.
He was always handled better on tv back in the day... well accept for what Smallville did which was hilarious lol
yup...morally ambiguous Lex is the best Lex (I really liked him in Young Justice).
LOL! that was the oddest and most unnecessarily confusing shit ever. just...wat.
strangest thing was that I thought the cast was pretty good... they just introduced him too early, made him a main cast billing and literally ran out of things to do with him.
Okay, this might be the first legitimate scoop Aint it Cool has pulled in like, 5 years. Maybe 6.
But it could be a big'un. So I'm gonna post the link to the story. But for real - it could be considered to be a pretty decent sized spoiler.

what are ya'll doing in preperation for man of steel?
i've been rewatching the animated series, the fleischer cartoons, re-reading some of my favorite super man stories {red son, all star} and ones with supes prominently in it {kingdom come}
Tonight I am rewatching the first donner film. after I have finished TAS, I will watch the 50's george reeves show. I have no plans to watch smallville or that one with he who must not be named.

Simo, I got it in a Large from hot topic before they sold out online and it's too small too. WTF at there sizes. Really nice official shirt, hopefully they will get more back in stock online.
I also pre-ordered the soundtrack off amazon lol My man of steel whoring has begun.
Should I check out the spoiler you lot are discussing or is it something that would actually best be experienced while watching the film?
What is it the equivalent of in terms of spoilers compared to TDK?
Might watch the film series too since I haven't seen them in a few years and I was DVRing Lois & Clark off The Hub since I hadn't watched that since it first aired and well, my fucking DVR deleted them all. Most likely an act of god or Matrix's fault.
I wishI bought Superman Returns and the flying was actually decent, the rest of the game was god awful though. They nailed Batman down, someone has to get a Superman game right one day.
It's different when casting for Superman himself.
I don't see why, though. It certainly doesn't have to be. The reason you go with an unknown for Superman is so the actor blends into the role more easily. I don't see why that concept would ONLY apply to Superman, or why it should, even.
It might even give a glimpse at how the character could be used in the future -
basically, Luthor & Superman as a bonded pair, if you get my meaning. You get an unknown for Superman and an unknown for Luthor because they're both going to be playing these roles for awhile, and the guy playing Luthor needs to be Luthor more than once, and needs to sink into that role just as much as Cavill needs to sink into Clark - basically, imagine a series of Superman movies (or World's Finest movies) where Luthor is never really the MAIN villain, but always antagonizing and chipping in. Like Lex does best.
lmao I didn't notice this last night. Smart DVR box![]()
I need to re-read Birthright and maybe do a Smallville mini-marathon of my favorite episodes soon. It's too bad nobody is taking a crack at a Man of Steel game right now for me to get my hopes up over.
Yeah, just zipping around Metropolis was actually quite fun, and the basic game design worked well.
+Super-hearing radar
+Being able to fly miles above the city and "hear" where trouble was brewing
+Picking up an ambulance and bringing it closer to people in need rather than flying injured people one by one to the hospital
+Recharging powers faster if you were closer to the sun
+Finding cats trapped around the city and rescuing them (Superman's confused dialogue about the city's kitten problem were great)
+Superman's sheer speed
+Being able to throw vehicles and various city structures around
+Keeping the city's health in mind a a #1 priority
The game just needed a better variety of things to do and better melee. Plus, some more inventive uses of his powers.
its probably the best superman story everI'm not doing anything to get ready for MoS.
I suppose I could finally read Secret Identity. I think that's the only one of the "required reading" Superman stories I haven't read.

Is SR: The Game worth trying 6 years on and for $10?
Really wish somebody would do take a crack at a good Superman game like Rocksteady handled Batman.![]()

Injustice will have to fill that void. Speaking of which...demo in 2 days!!

I played the demo a bunch. Flyin around was fun in the same way that swinging around the city in SM2 was fun in an otherwise mostly-hollow generic game.Superman Returns is still on my achievements list
And I got like 930 of the 1000 pts lol
I don't want to break my no action figures rule. I don't want to break my no action figures rule. I don't want to break my no action figures rule.
Nice! Statues are a different animal. I can buy this!
