I think someone in this thread mentioned him visiting Ireland a few days back?

Taking full advantage of those CBSi benefits

I can't believe Brad has only one shirt. :(

He also has an Akatsuki t-shirt.

I watch quite a few QL's, but lately they've been starting to get on my nerves. Who do they always spend 5-10 minutes on the title screen, or running back and forth in the same spot while explaining who the developers are, the game's history etc? If it's so hard to do that stuff while playing, just have one guy play and the other one talk at the beginning, then just start bantering as usual! Please! It's gotten to the point where I almost always fast-forward to the point where they're actually PLAYING the game. Anyone else bothered by this?

Jeff was way too easy on Ridge Racer 3DS. I just read his review. I bought that game for 8 bucks a little while ago and it's not even worth that. Mostly because the 3D is terrible. The HUD ruins it. If the game had all the HUD elements on the bottom screen it would be much more playable.

Hey guys, I've started watching the Persona 4 endurance run, and I've got a question; does it get better at some point? I'm a few hours in (episode 9), but so far it has not been very exciting or funny (aside from 'YOU ARE TIRED FROM THE LONG TRIP').

I enjoyed the Jeff + Vinny Deadly Premonition ER immensely, by the way.

I thought it got better as it went along plus you start to get interested in the story of the game eventually which helps keep your attention. That being said I made it to like the early 100s and got burnt out, haven't made it back for the last 30ish I have left.

Yes, it has a slow start but there are a lot of really funny moments.

Though, you might want to skip some of the grinding.

Got it, thanks.

Did you enjoy the Morooka introduction? If not, stop watching now.

I did enjoy it, but not so much would single that moment out as particularly hilarious.

To put it this way, the first half of the Deadly Premonition ER had me laughing out loud at least once per episode, usually more. So far, the Persona ER only made me audibly laugh once.

I think the P4ER is the best content Giant Bomb has ever put out, but it may be a product of its time which is probably not great for new viewers like yourself.

They start slow because, well, that was the start of the site and they were finding their footing (like the first quick looks, when they were...quick) and just weren't sure about the game (especially Jeff). When they did Deadly Premonition, the site was a couple years old and had developed its own style.

Give it a few more episodes to see if it clicks. Dungeon episodes might be particularly uninteresting for you because they're like mini-podcasts about current (2009) industry news.

I've actually been listening to older podcasts (going through them in reverse order, currently at early 2011) because I find them entertaining, so that doesn't sound too bad.

The endurance run is pretty enjoyable, too, but so far I don't see it living up to the legendary status this content has been given over the years. It's still pretty funny, so I'll most likely see it through to the end.

I'm up to episode 67 on the P4 ER and it's pretty awesome. Even with the hour-long grind-shows.

I just got to 105 the other night. I've had a few times where I've straight up skipped like 30 minutes of grinding because of being bored with the episode. Overall though, its been awesome.

I skipped most of my dungeons the first time through. These days I throw them on when I'm doing something else that doesn't require actual watching, like drawing or something.

I have been playing through Persona 4 Golden the last several weeks and its been fun to go back and watch them play stuff I just played.

I havent watched that ER since it happened and it was probably just background noise when I did watch it so I dont remember most of it bar a few big events so the story is still fun.

Also P4 Golden Chie >>>>> P4 Chie

The Persona 4 ER is 80% boring stuff. The Deadly Premonition ER is WAY WAY WAY better.

I feel the opposite. P4 was hilarious to watch them tear into, the game kept giving them material all the way through.

With DP, by comparison, they just sort of got tired of it in the last third and they became boring to watch.

The combat heavy sections of both games are pretty boring. They were having fun with DP at the end when it started rolling out all of its plot twists.
