Guys, I have a problem.
Next week I'm going in the hospital for open heart surgery. Thats actually not the problem. Because of spoilers I've not been listening to the Giant Bombcast since February 5th. I will be in the hospital for 2 to 3 weeks recovering. During that I'm going to catch up on all the Bombcasts that I've missed. I've been trying to get through my backlog of major games in order not to have Bombcast spoil anything I was about to play. I have time for only one more game, maybe two before I go into the hospital. I have

Ryan is considered by some to have a generally bad attitude and doesn't do much forward facing work leading many people to feel that he lazy. I agree with these opinions.

Yeah I know, I just wish they would participate more.
Giant Bomb has to have a heel. A villain. Ryan was pretty much the full time villain before Patrick came along. Now they share the job. Everyone was aching about Patrick until he did all that work for GDC and Ryan did that dumb Kickstarter. So the baton's been passed.

Hard to participate in an environment where you or your co-workers are being routinely bashed. I mean what are they suppose to say in a thread when a large amount of the past two pages are talking negatively about the guy/guys they sit next to/across from at work everyday.

I totally agree. However I also think that if the staff was a bit more active in the community (and I love you Brad but coming in here only when there's something negative to say doesn't count) then the community wouldn't be as hostile all the time.

Exactly! If Ryan came in here and said "No you guys are wrong these are the things I do x, y, and z on daily basis." I'd probably be inclined to believe him and never broach the subject again.
