This is the best feature.
How can people dislike Patrick? He subjects himself to this, clearly stressing himself out and going well outside his comfort zone. No way in hell I could see Jeff, Ryan, or even Brad doing this. The guy wants to produce good content.

That was a pretty great stream considering it was the first time with the new PC.
I'm an impatient bastard but does anyone accidentally click on drop down options while switching tabs because I change tabs, zoom down past the category tabs to click on the video pause it but I hit the drop down options instead because they pop up instantly.

Yeah. I don't like scary games and wasn't at all excited for the feature when it was first announced. The inadequate equipment didn't help either. However, I found tonight's stream really good and enjoyable.
For future streams though I hope the games he picks out aren't all as dark as that Fatal Frame inspired game. Not much fun sitting through 20 miniutes of pitch black video.

I paid for a month; am I not a "premium" member? Cause I still see the skins and pop-up video ad on the front page. I am currently logged in, and my billing page says yep, I'm premium. Hmm.

I see that you're right, but this page needs to be more clear. It definitely says "no ads" under the annual benefits section. However, the big comparison graphic just below that is simply labeled "What free members see" / "What premium members see," contradicting what's above.
No big deal to me, but they should adjust the wording...

I've been a monthly member since the beginning and I've never seen one ad or site skin. I see them if I log out but never when I am logged in.

I wouldn't know, I've neve been a member. I just rembered it from when I looked at the membership options and thought it was odd.
On the subject of not being a member, my least favorite part of the week is coming up; the part where you guys are having fun with Unprofesional Friday and I'm not. Maybe I should look into signing up...

Absolutely, you can see why Jeff brought him on. His different perspective prevents Giant Bomb from going too far up its own arse (most of the time). Not a massive fan of all the indie/gamejam games he covers, but there are definitely a few gems in there that wouldn't have gotten coverage otherwise.
Also, he's gotten a lot better at calling out some of the dumb assumptions the other staff have, rather than just ignoring it or semi-agreeing. Dude's getting the confidence to realise he hasn't got to go along with the staff on everything to appease the audience.

Other companies have been putting games up digitally on day one before now Patrick. Nintendo is not the trailblazer you think they are.
What's the Bombcast where Vinny was talking about playing Darksiders, I believe in anticipation of the sequel? I'm just getting into it myself and would love to re listen to it.
Also, it'd be really handy if games discussed in specific episodes could be tagged for easier finding.

I haven't heard of this unprofessional friday thing. Sounds fun. Is it the live stream that starts in 2.5 hrs, or is it separate? Under the timer it says [PREMIUM] Unprofessional Fridays. I hope this is not another thing that requires me to have paid for a full year.

I was thinking this earlier. Spookin' was really fucking good, I was laughing so hard at his freakouts, and his 3DS round-up video was super solid, too. Of course, the Interview Dumptruck continues to fascinate.
He puts the fucking work in. As a content producer he's becoming by far the most prolific member of the editorial team- Jeff needs to catch up. More Jar Time, more Bombastica!
Shame that Jurassic Lark is a deathly boring feature.

Seems like Nintendo is really the first big hardware company to really emphasize almost every game being day 1 digital. Certainly been done before, though perhaps not at this level as a standard feature.
