I was thinking this earlier. Spookin' was really fucking good, I was laughing so hard at his freakouts, and his 3DS round-up video was super solid, too. Of course, the Interview Dumptruck continues to fascinate.

He puts the fucking work in. As a content producer he's becoming by far the most prolific member of the editorial team- Jeff needs to catch up. More Jar Time, more Bombastica!

Shame that Jurassic Lark is a deathly boring feature.

I'm sure that Giant Bomb's video output doesn't give a completely accurate representation of their division of labor.

That said, from this side it looks like Patrick is doing considerably more effort to improve the quality and quantity of content than the rest of the crew. He tries out games that don't appeal to the rest - or even to himself (Monster Hunter, Fire Emblem, 999, etc.) - while also providing a lot of raw content: Worth Reading, Interview Dumptruck, Jurassic Lark, news stories, a lot of Quick Looks recently and Spookin' with Scoops.

So yeah, keep up the good work Patrick

Seems like Nintendo is really the first big hardware company to really emphasize almost every game being day 1 digital. Certainly been done before, though perhaps not at this level as a standard feature.

Actually the Vita has had it since its launch. Not that I blame you for not knowing since I'm sure Sony forgets sometimes that it even exists. In fact Vita has had every game day 1 digital, unlike Nintendo.

I got in the lobby late but they ended it 2 matches before I got to play Jeff. Would've loved to try my Solomon Grundy (and get the stream hyped up with his chain grabs) against him but it wasn't meant to be. But it was nice to see him dominate a TNT, retribution for the Blitz TNT like Felix said.

Jeff has played enough fighting games where he admits that while he'll beat any beginner just mashing buttons he often overthinks situations against better players and ends up being a danger to himself during the match. Plus, he's got enough experience with the MK-game "feel" that it didn't surprise me to see him wreck shop during week one.
