I did 5 runs of the Daimon, deposited all of the items and then purified them all at once. All duplicates :lol
I need to switch to MK so I can get some Hellfire gear. Seems I'm at a dead end with MA.
Has anyone found an Oblivion cloak? Right now my pawns got a Hellfire cloak on though I think the best-looking cloak is a tier 2 one.

...There must be something wrong here because I couldn't find the previous weapons/armors from the various dlc packs, like divine protection or whatever, from the storage as soon as I started the game. They should have been there, right?
Yeah. Since you can only forge one at a time the server accessing message will get annoying.
I really have no idea why they don't let us forge more than one at a time.
By forging you mean upgrading your weapons/equipment?

Yes. They're all so weak and expensive for someone still slogging through vanilla DD. lol
There isn't an Oblivion or Carrion cloak in the game. It's the only level 3 cloak in BBI.

Yeah, I know they are relatively weak but... it's the principle of the matter: why would I waste money to purchase all of those blasted packs with money if I cannot readily use them in the game?
Sigh, Capcom.
I just realized that I have most of the lv3 armors and probably all weapons from BBI and I've yet to kill Death. If only there was an area where it always spawned :/ It's not even at 50% HP because I always ran from it to save my pawns. I could easily kill it now, it's just a matter of finding it.

I've thrown my pawn on the PS3 list as well (Magnus, Level 24 Fighter with Scather/Acquisitor). He's a big unit so useful for both killing and carrying

I got Blasphemer's Cloak which was from a level 3 cursed armor. Hellfire is a step above Blasphemer though.
Thanks for the cursed weapon, Prophet. Got the Sanguine Stalk finally and now my pawn is at around 2700 Magick. Gotta start looking for level 3 bitterblack gear for those sorcerer bands.
Yeah I need to kill him again. He pussies out after losing one life bar. He tends to spawn in the ancient city (is already there when you enter) so maybe save/reload after killing all the mobs there?
There are two chests that commonly drop BB Gear and BB novelty lvl 3, in the small hallway that runs out from the corridor you take to progress through the room with two prisoner Cyclopes.
My PSN handle is wild_whiskey. Any of you guys who haven't added me yet should send an invite. She's a strider and almost completely maxed with best-in-slot gear.

Woo finally killed that first curse dragon! Man that was tough. But it dragonforged my Immortal Helm and Dragon's Toll hammer! So I'm guessing once I find wherever that rarefying guy went off to I will have a pretty strong weapon. And the Immortal Helm is already stronger than my chest piece now. That was a good fight. Shades of Dark Souls, patiently blocking and waiting for an opening, then slowly outlasting the enemy.
The Fallen City is a nightmare. My pawns were pretty much being continuously mangled. I'm not sure how I managed.
Three animated armour guys to take care of now.

I sent out some Lvl 2 and 3 cursed items to people on my friends list. Most of you guys are lvl 20-50 but hopefully it does some good once you get to Bitterblack Isle.
I do want to go down as a warrior solo one time to see if I can handle 3 Eliminators at once. Pretty sure I can do it.

Is there any specific enemy in Dark Arisen's expansion that the Magick Archer just can't handle? Like Metal Golems?
Seriously, it is my favorite class to play but I don't want to face an insurmountable challenge depending only on the stupid pawns to cover my ass.

Something similar just happenned to me.
Damn ennemy caught me off guard and put me on the floor before i could react...
Not a problem, I'll send you another piece later, I'm getting a lot of repeats and you really need chest pieces. I haven't had luck with oblivion hood :/ I need that and hellfire chest/head/legs. I'll be happy after that.

so is it confirmed that the type of cursed armor changes when you send it to someone else or does it stay the same? I've been getting a lot of helms/hoods, I've been Godsbaning and saving them cursed. They're just hanging out in my inventory, I'll send you some
Hmmm...there might be a sequence regarding what items you receive when you purify a cursed item. I noticed that when I give away some cursed items, the subsequent items I purify are the same as the ones I previously gave away. At first, I thought it was a coincidence but that doesn't seem to be the case. I've looked around and it seems some people are experiencing the same thing.

So I am a sorcerer and I am at the shadow fort mission, btw a random dragon appeared and scared the living crap outta me on my way there. I had to run for my life. But what I would like to know I am lvl 21 I believe and still only know of the Grand Soren shop to buy armor and weapons, am I missing something here? IS that the only place to buy armor becuase none has ever dropped from a monster. Also I have no clue how the crafting system works at all, I have never used it or was told how to....
One more question is how do I use healing items on my party, I can give them items, but they don't always use them.....I went into the select menu and it just has the option to give, not let me actually use the item on them.

Oh my god, casting two great cannon's and spamming full moon slash IS FIREWORKS! This is hilariously amazing, I've heard miasma makes this thing go nuts as well. Mystic Knight is so much fun once you hit R7 wasn't really feeling it before that since I don't really dig the perfect block mechanic too much since I am too reckless when I play.
What the hell, so does the game try to give you a full set or what? I did notice that I got gloves again after sending Prophet my last set of them.
I'm playing MA, and the only enemy I've almost never been able to kill at the magic golems when their amulets are floating around, everything else has been fine. Ricochet Hunter is actually really strong in BBI, since a lot of the encounters are in enclosed spaces, you can keep spamming it, and the enemy will just get juggled or knocked down (including Death, but he stays down for like a second).

How would the sequence work if that's true? I'm going to kill Daimon a few times and make a list. I better not get a single repeat in four kills.
I still need three more statues, kill death, and the 13 fabled items quest.

I'm grasping at straws, but we do know that Barroch sells rarer items at one point if you complete a few quests. So maybe the quests are tied to unlocking all the drops too? I'm running out of ideas, if the loot was just luck of the draw then I definitely would have all of it by now. It seems certain items are more elusive but the type varies from player to player

That seems to be how it works, I don't know if the vocation you are when you pick it up factors in anyhow but that would suck, can't imagine going against Daimon as a lone Warrior.
For me, if Death appears anywhere in the first stratum and we fight then he leaves, I can find him somewhere in the second stratum. Before, I tried going in and out of the sewers with the Holy Lanterns so he would spawn but he never did until I returned to the first stratum.
It might just be given a seed based on any random arbitrary factors and then a random number generator determines what sequence you get your items in, but the sequence never changes because your seed never changes. Seems like a really weird way to implement random chance item drops though.
Could anyone dupe a Bone Lantern for me? I used my only one from Death, and I'm also having a hard time finding another.

You might be right. I tried another store today and was told I'd be lucky to find a new copy in the state! I guess I'll just rent the original for a few days anyway, I'll get some cool bonuses out of it.

Feel a lot less helpless against golems after I realized liquid vim + high exequy equals an instant win. So I take back every time I said that skill was useless. It's the best way to fight golems that I've found.

the weapon and armor shop will update with new equipment as you progress and do mainline quests. The monsters don't drop armor or weapons, but they do drop items that are needed to upgrade armor and weapons. Talk to the weapon Shopkeeper in Gran Soren, there is an option to enhance weapons.
Fucking loving this game, this is certainly one of the best games i have played this generation. One question though, my pawn has not been hired once since Friday, is that because so many new players joined with Dark Arisen? Should i just unplug the cable and get those offline RC?

i managed to escape that one. my pawns were busy with a gorecyclops, so i had to wiggle my way out. only got out at the last second, the hammer was already falling.
