Im not sure there is anything similar to that. Agni reminds me of Morrigan from Dragon Age, so thats something I guess.

But announcing FFvsXIII as a PS4 exclusive wouldn't that piss more fans off?
A lot of people including myself bought a PS3 for GT5 and FFvsXIII...
Ah well, can't wait to see what they have, I'm sick and tired of Lightning.

I really hope MGSV gets a next gen version. Would be pretty rad to have both MGS and FF relatively soon after release, just like the good old days.

Most Final Fantasy fans will be too excited for a next gen entry to care about a cancelled version we didn't ever know that much about anyway.

I figure at the end of the day the same user base will end up getting a ps4. I dunno. I love the concept for Versus, and I wont lose any sleep if it ended up being on a better console at this point.

Has there ever been an on-stage gameplay demo of a final fantasy game one of the big E3 conferences?
FFXIII on 360 a few years back.
Of course I'm buying a PS4, Already have my cash ready and waiting. But I can see a lot of sites like Kotaku making shit headlines about it not being on the PS3 and how Sony lied and blah blah.

LOL that thing... it was like 30 seconds of a demo that was already out in Japan for months.
It's the only time I can think of a live demo of an FF game. They aren't the kinds of games that are usually showcased onstage.

I said waste of a number, not waste of a game. Square Enix seems to arbitrary in what they number their games and now the numbers are really stupidly high, it has gotten really stupid with things like X-2, XIII-2-3.

I think it would have been better with a different name to avoid confusion. Like Final Fantasy Online I, FFO II, FFO III or something like that.
If that happened then Versus would be the true FFXIII if they give it a numbered title haha.
But I'm guessing they get more sales if they stay with FFXI.
