Yeah. Me too. Makes it seem fancy, like the car. And u can just call it Infinity.I think I like "infinity" better. Dunno why, I just like the idea of referring to it like that. "I'ma go pick up my Infinity."
Just awful. So souless.

The funny thing is I'm mainly interested in the controller, since it's presumably what we will want to plug into our PCs at the end of this year.
The funny thing is I'm mainly interested in the controller, since it's presumably what we will want to plug into our PCs at the end of this year. The affinity between Xbox and Windows is one reason why I think the speculation, which is that the controller will not undergo any major changes, is true. It has more incentive to be backwards compatible than the Dual Shock. I mostly welcome this because I'm pretty cynical about the DS4's touchpad, and would not invite touch-based controls into my games in general unless I ever have an experience that shows me it can be as precise/useful as buttons.
That's a screencap of the UNSC Infinity from Halo 4.
Back when it was revealed too, there were Xbox Infinity rumours swirling. Didn't think there was a connection then, still don't think so.
Infamous Second Son devs seem like they understand that it's not a very precise tool, and they're only using it for things like when you want to make your character do a fingerprint scan, then you actually put your finger on the pad.
Xbox Infinity logo should just be a slick as hell, chrome infinity symbol with the words XBOX in front of it.
It's also an inexpensive addition.Touchpad is useful for iOS type games, content creation, and UI browsing.
I hope the 720 pad has one.

I like it just because it's less intrusive but I agree it isn't the best design. That is awful box art layout. It looks like two stickers are wrapped around the spine of the case. I like the white with green swipe at the top a lot better.
Also, I hope they keep using DVD cases like Nintendo does for the Wii U.

Those pics are what sold me, honestly. It looks so good with more colour around it

Also, I think next gen we won't be seeing XBL or Kinect-specific identifiers on box art. Everything will support both Kinect and XBL because they are core features of the console no matter what.
I like box arts that are minimalistic, but that just looks like someone glued a sticker to the cover.

Xbox 1 version:
It's going to be shoehorned into early PS4 games just like the sixaxis was, no thanks

The tent. The tent is big.
It can, and will, be shoehorned.
It can, and will, do great things.
It has a lot more utility than sixaxis.
Kinect is much more of a gimmick than something far more proven and useful like a touchpad.

As is the console.
i dont care for kinect either.
