So, two interesting stories to day. First CD Projekt refuses to confirm a Xbox One release for The Witcher 3 even after confirming a PS4 version

http://gematsu.com/2013/05/cd-projekt-red-mum-on-the-witcher-3-for-xbox-one

And now Ono won't confirm a Xbox One version of deep down

http://gematsu.com/2013/05/capcom-cant-say-if-deep-down-will-come-to-xbox-one

I wouldn't read much into it - isn't it true that very few developers have come out and announced their games for the Bone? Aside from EA and a couple of other major publishers, there's been no word at all - whereas with the PS4 reveal we saw quite a few threads pop up with 'coming to PS4' alongside current gen games. I expect Microsoft has asked developers/publishers to keep silent about the platform until E3, when their focus is on games. If those publishers were to reveal those games prior to Microsoft's conference then they'd have nothing but internal stuff to reveal. Microsoft are just holding back.

im just going with they are saving these announcements for E3 just so Microsoft can fill those empty times when they make a lame joke.

But we saw UBI come out and confirm Watch_Dogs and AC4 for the Xbox One after the conference, and Square confirmed Thief. What would be stopping CDP or Capcom from confirming those two games?

It's possible I guess.

Well yeah, my thinking is that with both consoles starting with no install base and Sony being vastly more popular in Japan, it may be fairly easy for Sony to negotiate a deal.

That and the fact they made a big deal of Capcom being on stage at the PS Meeting.

Cernified.

awesome.

There's also this when it comes to CDP (credit to China Don't Care)

GoG is of course CDP's DD service. And look at their press release for the PS4 announcement

“We were thrilled when asked, several months ago, to be one of the developers who were granted early access to the PlayStation 4. It was an exciting moment to be invited to be in the company of other legendary developers like Bethesda, EA, LucasArts, Ubisoft or Activision as one of the teams working on titles shipping early in the PlayStation 4's lifecycle. Of course, we couldn't reveal any specifics about this to our fans, even though many journalists and forum members asked about when and how The Witcher might show up on Sony's console. After yesterday's PlayStation Meeting we can finally promise: The Witcher 3 is coming to the PlayStation 4. The new hardware gives us the opportunity to create something great. We are able to work with the new console from its birth and this allows our in-house REDengine 3 to push the graphical limits of what the PlayStation hardware can display. The console is fresh and has some innovative solutions that we're looking forward to using in our game” said Adam Badowski, head of CD Projekt RED studio.

“It’s a real pleasure to cooperate with Sony. Combining CD Projekt RED’s unique artistic vision and tech with the capabilities of PlayStation 4 will make The Witcher 3 a truly next-gen RPG. With Sony's new hardware and our new engine, there are no limits to what we can create in the process of realizing our vision for Geralt's dark fantasy world,” commented Adam Kicinski, CEO of CD Projekt SA.

Assuming Deep Down is Dragon's Dogma 2. I wouldn't be surprised if Sony moneyhatted it to be PS4 exclusive to combat Fallout 4 so at least the system will have an exclusive open world rpg.

Dragons Dogma finally has the chance to run above 30fps...and in HD!

But not with those teaser trailer graphics.

Capcom has unequivocally said that Deep Down is not Dragon's Dogma... and even explained why (paraphrasing): they don't want their creators tethered to consumer expectations established by a different project.

So... what's the current Vita rumor roundup?

Ubisoft has unannounced games coming, someone on another forum I read said there were non-major EA announcements coming, famousmortimer has alluded to something from 2K, there's Shahid Kamal/Antony Clark's "not just one game" tease (which could be any or none of the above, though I don't think they've promised that it's an E3 announcement), and AniHawk alluded to a third-party announcement that people aren't expecting (though I think he said something about not being sure if anyone will want it). Is there more that I've missed?

No sales talk from me here; I'm genuinely curious.

any such thing most likely won't be revealed until after e3. it/they is/are (a) game(s) that exist in japan, but not here. that's what might disappoint people. that, and how little of an audience they already appeal to. the release date is also off in the distance, but we're already looking at late 2013 for a lot of things, so 2014 should be expected as release dates for games being announced anyway.

What happened?
I don't know if this is universal but apparently a deadline of Tuesday was set for guests of this certain company presenting. I was going to be a guest and didn't know they needed all of my info by Tuesday. Granted, Sony proper might(hopefully) have a longer deadline although they seem reluctant to return messages.

This really hurts to be so close.

Edit: typos galore.

Can't wait for Destiny now after watching that new CGI trailer. The music is awesome and epic, and having gus from breaking bad in there just makes it super badass; I could see him being the next Morgan Freeman.

Oh so a company presenting had invited you as a guest and you didn't get your info in on time? Sorry to hear that. I know when I had been invited to go last year, I didn't pay the fee on time and couldn't go. Then again, I had to pay for the airfare to California, etc. so it would have been an expensive trip either way.

Hmm, I see. Well if it comes down to it you can always try and get in at the door. They have on site registration every year.

Ah, thanks for elaborating. Didn't realize you weren't referring to E3.

So there are still seats? They don't fill up the keynote well in advance?

I know it's not much of a consolation prize, but you're always welcome to post with all of us about the conference when gaf inevitably comes back up.

Maybe Kagari will live blog it for us... or take pictures or something.

Uncharted GA 2 is almost a given at this point, although I don't know if they'll show it at E3.

Also, I read on IGN that an "inkling" told them a God of War game is coming to the Vita and that it will be shown at E3. They also hinted heavily that the Vita will "indeed", have a presence in the main conference.

IF and this is an IF those games have exclusive Xbox One dlc they might be waiting for a big reveal at E3 .

ES isn't far away at this point

Found a way into EA and Microsoft's keynote, and while I am pleased and greatful, I really wanted to see Sony's. I doubt ill be able to see it otherwise.

Your link confuses me... page three of a random xbone case thread?

For what its worth wikipedia says the witcher 3 will be released on the xbox one

Wouldn't trust Wikipedia. However, CD Projekt's silence surrounding Xbone and then them saying that didn't have anything to announce at the time can only be smoke from the fire. I'm gonna call it now gents: Sony has some sort of exclusive deal with CD Projekt for The Witcher 3.
