It's easier to talk about a characters physical traits if you show a picture of said character.
You just can't beat Mai x Reo. I don't even care if Reo is a fairly obvious tsundere character type.
Think.......Kangoku Senkan/Taimanin Asagi with slightly less blurred, incoherent scenes but similar silly faces.
Despite it not being a female VA, if Norio Wakamoto doesn't deserve a mention for amazing voice roles, I don't know who does. Jouji Nakata as well.

I actually got into a really short discussion about this a bit ago in the K-On thread over a request for a glassesless version of a picture. My argument was just that depending on the character type, looks, etc. sometimes glasses work and sometimes they just don't. Like an example that was already posted is that normal Nagato looks better without glasses, but they work fine for Moegato. Same thing for Homura and Moemura, I guess.

Fully agree. Glasses really don't work with every single character but when they do, they REALLY do.
People like different aspects of character design and that's why there are so many.

It's not a bad show. I enjoyed it, but mostly for it's characterization and unique setting. It's got some troublesome exposition in parts that can occasionally be Kamiyama-esq (I say this as a good thing), but it usually just slows down the show which is unfortunate. I would say give it a shot if you're curious. Obligatory AS promo.

You know, #ROLO has been using his Geass a lot. Why hasn't it misfired? Oh yeah, because misfiring Geass isn't a thing.
"Filled with conceit, as ever." Uhm, what? Isn't this the guy you just begged and praised? Dat situational trust. Oh well, shouldn't expect Lelouch to be a decent piece of shit at this point.
Sayoko's "Ninja" outfit should be another big clue that the writers don't give two fucks anymore, along with the fact that Sayoko is a Ninja-Maid.
Kallen and Ogie are the only reason I even root for the Black Knights. Tamaki almost singlehandedly encourages me not to. And by the way
Also, Toto is kind of the unsung badass of the show. Everybody KNOWS that Kallen and the KOTR are badasses, but Toto has to fight the actual battles while they're off having their dramatic duels.

That girl from the previous episode is Maou and friends' new neighbor. She doesn't really seem to have much personality. She wears a kimono all the time, so that's something I guess. Oh, and she's hot for Maou. Not really sure why. He's been a good neighbor to her I suppose. AnywayA, she makes a lunch box for him as a gift and puts a heart in it, which. makes Chiho go bananas. She's rather possessive.
Emi seems to struggle a lot with Maou and friends' life in Japan. On one hand, they're behaving well and even making friends, which is a good thing. They're not being evil and terrorizing the world, which is a big plus for peace if they keep it up. On the other hand, if they're being good, what is her purpose now? She feels like she's acting like a stalker because she's just waiting for them to do something evil so she can stop them, but they just aren't. So what is she to do now? This internal conflict she has really seems like the key driver of her character and possibly the show in general

Problem is he can nullify her celestial sword. Or whatever its called. I would guess it's another general, but seeing as how she's never encountered this before, that seems pretty unlikely.

For a few episodes now the normal OP and ED have been replaced by scenes from the then upcoming film (released last August) and running commercials at the end to promote it. Now the episode itself moves into promotional mode, as it introduces the Sweetspets (like Jewelpets except their entire body is made out of, well, sweets) who are the key component of the film.
But since the film doesn't take place in Kira Deco continuity, the show is free to do whatever it wants with the concept of animals made of candy. And it's chosen to explore just how creepy said concept is. Sakuran is a Sakura Mochi pet who has mysteriously become so hard that no one is able to eat her without breaking their teeth. Saddened by this, she seeks the help of the main cast to find a way to soften her up so she can become edible again.
So first bestiality, now cannibalism, what taboo will Kira Deco break next?

But you're right, they did rather fluff it afterwards. I don't think I've ever gone beyond those episodes on the DVDs, actually!
I really enjoyed Witch Hunter Robin back in '02/'03. It looks a little ugly these days thanks to the terribad CG background art, but the animation was half decent and Taku Iwasaki's score was fantastic. It's not a particularly exciting show, but it does the whole episodic detective show thing half-decently and I thought Robin herself was a very strong lead character.
Its major weaknesses are its flat supporting cast (although Sakaki, in the right frame of mind, is unintentionally hilarious) and tendency towards heavy exposition.
