BEST GLASSES WIELDING LASSES IN ANIME GO.
This is the first I'm hearing of anyone treating Dulce Report as anything but porn. Its not the story that will give you nightmares. Its the art. Anyone who believes that the story is anything more than a excuse for the stupidly sexual premises that are in the manga is having a laugh.

we're a bajillion pages too early to imagespam
You just can't beat Mai x Reo. I don't even care if Reo is a fairly obvious tsundere character type.
Think.......Kangoku Senkan/Taimanin Asagi with slightly less blurred, incoherent scenes but similar silly faces.

Despite it not being a female VA, if Norio Wakamoto doesn't deserve a mention for amazing voice roles, I don't know who does. Jouji Nakata as well.
Cajun's list is sorely lacking some of dat Maaya Sakamoto and Yu freakin' Kobayashi. I'm afraid I have to seriously question its validity.
SOLD.

Or we could just post images and have no-one reply to them, that works too.

I actually got into a really short discussion about this a bit ago in the K-On thread over a request for a glassesless version of a picture. My argument was just that depending on the character type, looks, etc. sometimes glasses work and sometimes they just don't. Like an example that was already posted is that normal Nagato looks better without glasses, but they work fine for Moegato. Same thing for Homura and Moemura, I guess.

One billion points for the Mischief Makers reference. Also seconding (or thirding) Robin from WHR. Through fire, justice is served.

Judau's got 99 problems and an imouto is only 2 of 'em.
So do things "get serious" in episode 20, or episode 21? I was told it was around this point the series underwent a tonal shift. Here's hoping it doesn't wind up like the second act of Zeta. Gundam shows tend to have a rough second act.

Isako from Dennou Coil (right). No-one else wields glasses better.
I recall really liking the first half but it sort of fell off hard for me around the middle.

Too late for those tags, buddy.
Well, I probably wasn't going to get around to watching it anyway.
It's not a bad show. I enjoyed it, but mostly for it's characterization and unique setting. It's got some troublesome exposition in parts that can occasionally be Kamiyama-esq (I say this as a good thing), but it usually just slows down the show which is unfortunate. I would say give it a shot if you're curious. Obligatory AS promo. Is Witch Hunter Robin a good show?
Oof. I blocked that from my memory.Nailed it.That ep was so hardcore. I'm still bitter about that terrible twist.
Probably more value knowing going in because yeah, that bad.
Code Geass 18
So basically the question is if Suzaku can drop the Atomic Bomb or not. Let's face it, though: this guy has a hard time even murdering the bastard who took everything from him, he's not gonna pull that trigger.
You know, #ROLO has been using his Geass a lot. Why hasn't it misfired? Oh yeah, because misfiring Geass isn't a thing.
"Filled with conceit, as ever." Uhm, what? Isn't this the guy you just begged and praised? Dat situational trust. Oh well, shouldn't expect Lelouch to be a decent piece of shit at this point.
Sayoko's "Ninja" outfit should be another big clue that the writers don't give two fucks anymore, along with the fact that Sayoko is a Ninja-Maid.
Kallen and Ogie are the only reason I even root for the Black Knights. Tamaki almost singlehandedly encourages me not to. And by the wayyou may now add "rescuing Kallen" to the list of promises Lelouch failed to keep.
Also, Toto is kind of the unsung badass of the show. Everybody KNOWS that Kallen and the KOTR are badasses, but Toto has to fight the actual battles while they're off having their dramatic duels.
And as of this moment I declare Cornelia to be the new Best Girl.
Nina is almost as trigger happy with her nuclear weapons as Flit Asuno.
WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL THAT IS SOME CONTRIVED BULLSHIT.
Seriously that doesn't even make sense. That's just blatantly bad writing. That's just stupid bad. I don't. There's so much about what I just saw that I can't get my head around that I don't know what to say. That's just the worst writing.
Why would you load a nuclear weapon into a gun? A gun which can miss at point blank range? Why would you DO that? Why would Lelouch's "LIVE" command force Suzaku to fire that gun? If it had hit at that range, it would have killed him, too. None of what I just saw makes any sense.
That's so.
Fuck it.
Mayo is gross. Unless it's on a chicken sandwich.
You are terrible people.Mayo is full of shit.

You are a gentleman and a scholar.[初夜ヴァージン・ナイ]
Impressive. The piece has a very grounded feeling to it and it's all the more memorable because of it. There's very little "anime eccentricity" in here aside from a bit before the title sequence with "hurr durr I'm embarrassed" anime faces, and almost half of the film contains no dialogue whatsoever, helping highlight the feelings of anxiety and self-guilt that imbue our protagonist's dilemma. There's a bit of monologuing here to give some context to the work, but sadly it comes across as hilarious and pitiful instead of just innocently awkward.
Night is a contemplative work instead of the voyeuristic exercise that is common to this type of show. I wouldn't call it mature in concept, but the execution feels more nuanced than you'd expect before watching considering the subject matter. At best it's gonna bring back feelings of similar events in the viewer's past, and at worst you will be able to enjoy it for the sumptuous yet delicate animation.

Riding Bean was set in Chicago and so is Gunsmith cats I think.Question.
How many US cities have appeared in anime in some form? Modern or past or futuristic etc. Like an actual shot of the city and not just a line.
New York is a popular one, Huston in all the space animes. hmmmm. I know for a large chunk of Shaman King they were in america, but did they visit any actual real cities?
Yeah the art is pretty meh but it is entertaining in other ways.I tried reading Dulce Report once but the art was simply too mediocre for me to get invested in it. Sorry Hito.
That's just mean.Have you watched Eureka Seven AO yet? http://i.imgur.com/ABBGiRk.gif
Best megane is Nagato Yuki. No contest. Someone post the gif with her trying grasp that paper in the movie.
