Sandwiches and cereal only is going to give you very bad constipation which will result in roids.

At least eat fruit. You need fiber or you're going to be in pain when you finally poop.
 
Is a gym out of the question? Working up a sweat will help keep your appetite in check. Plus you can feel good about yourself and perv on fit people!

Also, you won't be able to do it OP. Think about how only few people can maintain diets which consist of eating 3-4 times a day. You think you're part of a smaller percentage that would cut off any type of food entirely?
 
So not so much a diet, as a hunger strike with a side-effect of weight loss

What will you do when you've down to optimum weight? Go back to eating and hope you have the willpower to eat properly?

You'll gain it back when you start eating normally and it looks like what you're planning to do is gonna be leave you nutritionally deficient. But it's your life.

Weight loss is about changing your habits, not quick fixes that involve yo yo dieting.

This is simply not a good idea. Your body needs food.

Get on a long term plan. Make more food yourself should be a starting point. Controlling what goes into your body plays a huge role both in feeling better as well as making healthier choices. Make sure you are getting enough fiber, protein, vitamins, and an appropriate amount of fat, cholesterol, and sodium. Watching the amount of food you are eating will help, but a pound a week or so. A decent exercise regimen will make it steadier while getting you even healthier.

Don't starve yourself. Your body will get hungry and you will gorge. Nothing good will come of it.

The best way to lose weight: Intermittent fasting.

You fast for 16 hours (say from 8 pm to 12 pm the next day) followed by an eight hour re-feed period (12 pm to 8pm). Within the 8 hour re-feed you have the opportunity to eat larger, more satisfying portions, while still restricting your calorie intake. You can divide the meals up into larger or smaller portions depending on what suits best. The great thing about this method is that, while you are eating less, it doesn’t feel like it.

Eating less over nothing works better. Eating healthy works best. Especially for you metabolism.
 
Isn't there a diet that women can do where they take a hormone they would usually produce during pregnancy and only eat like 500 calories? I met someone who did that before.

You mean not have their menses? Because that may happen if you're not eating adequately, like starvation I mean.

You really need to do some research about this, Know this your body is going to think that its starving which it is so it will start storing fat and burning muscle. This is not a good solution for losing fat. Also fun fact muscle weighs more than fat so you will lose weight but just the wrong kind.
 
lol this is such a bad idea, seriously... At least eat some fucking vegetables, there's like no calories in them but at least you'll get some nutrients... Also fuck cereal, eat something better than that if you're only gonna eat when absolutely necessary... Have a bowl of oatmeal and protein drink or something because you're going to wither away...

Why not buy a juicer? You can juice a ton of vegetables and drink them like 4-5 times a day. That way your body is still getting the nutrients it needs and your body will eat the fat it's stored over the years. You'll crave food still but when you drink the juice, you'll be full for 2-3 hours afterwards.

I currently weigh 220lbs. The easiest and best way for my to lose this weight would be simply to diet and exercise. I'm not doing that. I'm going to simply stop eating.

Most days I will not eat but in order to stay alive, some food needs to be consumed. These will be limited to items such as sandwiches or cereal and only once a day at maximum. Liquids and any drinks have no effect on this test. I will still drink tea and will still occasionally buy a can of Coke or similar.

Other notes:

  • I do smoke
  • I do work full time
  • I can't cook but do eat a worrying amount of take-away.

I also started a blog, just to get my progress down on paper. I also honestly believe no one will care but it's more fun with people pretending they're interested. :)
This is a fantastic idea and nothing could possibly go wrong with it.

1. You will gut your metabolism.
2. You will likely suffer from malnutrition of some kind.
3. You will lose your muscle mass
4. You will feel like shit

And

5. There are better ways of rapid fat loss if you want to be insane. Do the diet called rapid fat loss and exercise a couple of times a week. You'll still fry your metabolism but you should be able to taper off more or less.

You also might slow down your metabolic rate, so when you come back to eating normally. You'll put on more pounds. Good luck!

Hcg diet. Human chorionic gonadotropin. Not sure if it really works though...

I hope for your own sake that you're winding us up, because this is completely the opposite of what you should be doing.

If you're being serious, then remember where you are - the Internet. There are countless places you can go to look for information that will explain both why what you've said in the OP is something that you should never ever attempt and what you should be doing instead. I don't have links (phone posting) but right here on GAF you can find what you need. Start with the Paleo thread.

Edit: you say you know it's bad, but so you really know? Because I don't think you do. Not eating at all has been done before by many an ignorant would-be dieter, and their negative results can be found anywhere.

Bad idea. Better approach is to buy like 2-3 very bland foods. Like plain rice, plain steak, steamed broccoli. Only eat those when hungry. You'll eat dramatically less without destroying lean tissue and if you transition to a permanent diet that is inbetween "normal" food and that bland food in bland-ness, you'll stay lean.
