I'm gonna wait until next week to think harder about that.

I'm not exactly sure WHY he left other than ... maybe he noticed his brother's were there? But why not take her? Whats the deal with animal dude jumping into a Bird before he died? Is he stuck inside the bird now?

That whole part coulda be a lot clearer ...

I think that was just his last attempt at attacking Jon while still conscious. That's just assuming that people like him and Bran need their physical shells as a tether.

I don't think it was that unclear. There have been hints of Jon not really belonging to the 'wildlings' for a while now. There was an opportunity to run off, so he took it.

I really, really want to see Tywin and Cersei get their just desserts now. I'm not partial to Jamie either, but he did sway me a bit after his heroics in saving Brienne.

So the last shot of Season 1 was Dragons.

The last shot of Season 2 was White Walkers.

Both had a fair bit of build up, is there anything similar we could get in the last shot of this season? Maybe something Lord of Light related?

Stannis cursed the three usurper kings with the leech-blood, and now one of them is dead. Maybe the magic will also do something to, even kill, Joffrey and Greywolf?

Haha, nice. lol @ de-bearded

Two guys I don't recognize. The dude to the right of Maester Aemon (3x4), and the dude to the right of the Blackfish, below Septa Mordane (13x8). Anyone?

Haha. What is this gif from?

Dude to the right of Aemon is Karl (a guy from the night's watch) http://gameofthrones.wikia.com/wiki/Karl
Dude to right of blackfish is Qyburn and below Lady Olenna, if that's the guy you're talking about. He is found by Robb and company and harrenhal and 'heals' Jaimie's arm. http://gameofthrones.wikia.com/wiki/Qyburn

The Gif is from survivor.

That reminds me of an awesome dream I had last week: Some knights were chasing Joffrey through a forest. He was holding some sort of lance with a glowing blue tip. He came to a gate which was sealed shut. While his enemies came closer and closer, he started banging against the door with this magic lance. Suddenly, he heard some strange noise and jumped away from the gate, right in time before a steam train broke through the gate from the other side and ran over his pursuers. Joffrey got up and slowly walked to the train. He went inside and found a newspaper with an article about some scientific breakthrough by Nicola Tesla and a nazi armlet next to it.

Then I woke up.

Does anyone think that viewership will drop because of this?

I remember posts asking the same question when Ned got killed. ;)

Aside from some of the (understandable) intense emotional reactions, I think most people that have stuck to the end of three seasons of this show realize that bad shit happens to everyone; honorable characters especially, due to the nature of the world. No one is safe. That creates a high level of unpredictability, which in turn produces a great deal of interest. Who will survive this? How will so-and-so die & when? It keeps people captivated- or at least it should, IMO.

Its high time that someone sent their regards to the Lannisters. God dammit I want blood.

Don't hate the player, hate the game.

Tywin knows what is up.

I think there's a chance Joffrey will die in this season finale.
He's a useless character and he's not even the hate catalyst, anymore.

I swear Has boy Bean acted in any fucking movie/show he has not died in... ;/
lol It's like he wont do it unless he dies at the end..
Not counting National stupid Treasure they couldn't hit anyone with bullets in that movie..
Yes. He didn't die in Silent Hill and I believe there are others, but I haven't seen many of his movies in a while.

I think
he dies in the horrible sequel.
(silent hill movie spoiler)

Oaths are everything a man has to offer, according to Robb. So Walder Frey's decision to kill him was what? A justified act that his honour demanded? An act his integrity relied on? Frey was obviously wronged by Robb but it makes little sense to murder his pregnant wife and mother along side him. Evidently he didn't expect Talisa to be present at the wedding, but still...it seems to go against his motive.

You mean Balon Greyjoy?

And I think the Red Witch is a fraud. Her magic always seems to have a fatal condition to it - Stannis's seed, sacrifice of Rob's bastard, her absence from the Blackwater resulting in Stannis's defeat etc. There's something illegitimate about it that I can't put my finger on and I can't believe that her powers/god has the muscle to directly kill any of the 'kings' from afar.

Remember the episode where Cersei was explaining what happened to House Reyne? Well, the song was made in remembrance of it. When Catelyn heard it, she knew something was wrong immediately because it's a Lannister song, made as a warning for their adversaries.
Tyrion was also whistling it during his first Small Council and Bronn and the mercenaries were singing it before Blackwater in season 2. It seems to be their universes' "Taking Care of Business".

Note to HBO producers: I have no interest in finding out what happens to be the GOT universes' version of "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet."

Also the fight scene with Dario was so stupid looking, too much choreography.
They had to tell Corporal Shredder to stop doing the Xena yodel.

Because of all the other things that went down I think its being overlooked that Grey Worm was fucking some shit up!

AIIIYIYIYIYIYIYIYI

Arya seems more determined too actually fuck people up.
On this note, the Hound was actually taken aback when Arya threatened to stab him in the eye. He seems to be taking her a lot more seriously.

How can they top this for the season finale?

Who's left to kill? I'd love to see Joffrey getting killed with his own crossbow by Sansa and his soon to be wife, but he's too evil to die. If they kill off Tyrion now I'm off the wagon.

You know what? I'm really upset. I avoided all spoilers of this show so far, and THIS is what I accidentally got spoiled on by a random news headline.

Ugh.

They'll probably kill him, the dragons and Sansa off in the same episodes just as a giant Fuck You to the viewers

As i said, Joffrey is mostly a useless character now, they should get rid of him.

Snow leaving Ygritte behind like that really doesn't make much sense, to be honest. They could have just killed the wildling leader and ride off into the sunset. Instead, he now has one pissed ex-lover and the wildling guy on his heels. I expect drama in the near future

From the beginning of the episode:

The wine will flow red
and the music will play loud
and we'll put this mess behind us.

Yeah and as i said, he saw the two fucking direwolves, so he knew his brothers were near, wth..

Wait did Cat actually know that Bran and Rickon were dead?

I thought they just thought that Winterfell was captured by Theon.

I think it's a bit too soon for Joffrey to get killed. I can't even imagine the aftermath.

get on the good side with the Lannisters, strengthening the position of his house and taking over Riverrun, not losing thousands of his men in an unwinable war.

and sweet, sweet revenge

Haven't read the books that far, I only knew about a red wedding (Which gave too much away) but it was absolutely shocking to see. Very ballsy as a writer. Can't wait to see the rest. I'm not looking forward to any vengeance in particular. I just want to see when the White Walkers (Ice) will meet the Dragons (Fire). If they ever meet lol.

Yeah IIRC he named him too as a separate "usurper".

The magic did kill Renly straight .

But Robbs death was natural ofc (but what was it that Stannis did then? - ill have to find it on youtube).

I hope it kills Joffrey and Greywolf too.

Episode 9 is usually the big plot bombs, I'm sure the finale might have some minor developments but I found that the tenth episode is usually the aftermath of whatever events.

Well 9 is always the shock, but shit always gets real on the 10th episode.

They won't. Nothing big will happen. Previous seasons taught us that the second last episode is where shit really hits the fan. Then it's just a recap/build up for next season.

Yeah and as i said, he saw the two fucking direwolves, so he knew his brothers were near, wth..

They initially found the direwolves in the wild, it's not as if they are the only direwolves in Westeros. And remember the last time Jon would have seen his brothers direwolves they were considerably smaller pups. I see nothing wrong with him not connecting those dots.

Also, aside from the wildlings immediately attacking Jon at the windmill, there were still a dozen(s?) more at the farm they had just run off from. He wasn't exactly in a position to just chill out for a moment and explore or grab Ygritte from the dude.

But that's the whole point with the Red God: he demands a price for his gifts. A part of your consciousness for resurrection, blood/semen for curses etc.

Which brings me back to the first season's ending. When Dany burned the witch (along with her stillborn child and Drogo's body), she was unknowingly enacting a Red Ritual, wasn't she? It would tie into the idea that the Lord of Light is all-seeing and acts in subtle and mysterious ways, as Melissandre and Stannis seemed to believe when casting the blood curses.
