Shame that we've lost so many; right now the MS hate is high, so losing guys quiets this thread even more, which seemed to be a bit of a haven. Shame that.
Given the apparent GAF narrative that has currently been established for E3, I see no chance that there will be much MS positivity over the coming days regardless of what's shown. Hopefully those with genuine excitement for the games that ARE shown can post without a bunch of noise clogging the discussion.

How many have been banned? Long standing members or juniors? I've noticed 1 or 2 and I thought they were earned. Bish flat out said the latest batch of juniors was fascinating in that it contained a ton of social agency e-mails. A bunch of new juniors with < 150 posts have had some laughable posts.

it's been thought of that way for years by lots of folks on other forums and it has a very big vocal lobby of them but I decided to give it a go and i'm glad I did, there are actually plenty of Ninto, PC, xbox and everything fans here. they're just quieter I think.
all forums seem to end with one lobby being bigger anyway, it's just the way it seems to go.

Sorry I was thinking more of Reiko, ford, dopey, etc. Folks who had posted here and in the tent thread who appeared honestly interested in the Xbox One and what it would have. I have not tracked or followed juniors in other threads though.

The game threads should be left alone. Thousands of people's work should not be sullied and shitted on because of what people far above them do. I'm not fully on-board with what Microsoft is doing with their console. Their policies don't really bother me, but I think that we should have some justification as to why they are doing it and their cancellation of meetings and such irks the shit out of me. That said, I'm here for the games. If they are great, I know what I'll be playing.

Quite a few long standing members, maybe 20-30 Xbox GAF non-Juniors.
They gave their accounts in this bitter and harsh struggle, it's up to us to move on and nevar forget their sacrifices.
The games are coming, why do you think Microsoft put their cards on the table now? So as Monday could be all about the games and not the FUD. Instead of having to cover all this depressing stuff at E3, like Sony will have to do, Microsoft are dropping 12 bombs one after the other and it will be glorious.
Of course, but the derails will taper off pretty fast then we can settle down to some good discussion and speculation.

Ridiculous. There was a thread I was just in like 15 min ago where there was a perfectly fine discussion on XB1 and why someone didn't care that they were losing the ability to do something like trade games and getting the ability to download them to any XB1 anywhere.
edit: Yea there is a lot of hyperbole and sensationalism going on right now but it's not US OR SHILL. The only suspects of being shills were the last couple batches of juniors.

Why should the developers and their games take shit because of problems people have with the platform? They shouldn't. There are so many threads where people can discuss those issues. Let the game threads be about the games.
Well MS was the first to detail their policies on their new platform, so they are taking the most amount of flak.
Sony is in this weird position though. People want it to have no DRM at all, but I just don't see that being possible in this day and age. Hell, even the NES had region-locking, a rudimentary form of DRM. The key for Sony is in how they present it to people, and whether they will keep things the status-quo as it is on the PS3, or change it so you have to activate games on your account like Xbox One and Steam.

Well MS has revealed all the bad news, so if they a decent e3 they me become slightly redeemed and end with a good light on them. Sony on the other hand as only revealed good news, so if they have a bad e3 all the negative attention from MS will be put on them for a few days.

I'm cool with folks that ARE astoturfing (new word to me) being gone, that's crappy where/whenever it exists. Plus I think the noise will die down eventually. WE can agree to disagree here, I'm not hating on the entirety of GAF, I'm noting a trend I don't care for at this time.
