Another interesting enemy

I look at those textures, and it sort of makes their grain filter seem lazy.

Rather than put more effort into the textures, they decided to just dirty up the whole image so you couldn't tell.

I get that it fits the aesthetic of the game by most accounts, but still, sort of lame.

I completely agree. I knew that removing the filter would show the poor quality of the textures. But we're also sticking our noses up against everything to get screenshots, and staring at them far longer than the average gamer. I would like higher res textures though....

My screenshots of this game have kinda been meh. But Nilin is pertty so here's more of her. Why not.

Your shots look great!

I have to agree, I think the game looks great...no game is perfect. I think the art style more than makes up for a lot. That and it runs at 60fps with everything turned up high, so it runs really well for the most part.

^ Maximum Tortoise?

For me, this Rising Storm expansion has certainly injected some new life into the RO2 game. The initial lopsidedness between the two sides actually seems to be balanced without being a mirror image like the two factions in vanilla RO2.

Using the flame thrower on the night maps clearing out bunkers is pretty fun. It's a bit difficult to see who's who when laying down a wall of fire, FF is inevitable...but still strangely satisfying!

Glorious Fire.

GAF needs to get together and play some Airborne online in a server.

Game had amazing controls, camera, and gamefeel. Was on the edge of Dude-bro FPS and war-sim IMO.

I can't stop playing this game. I'm too lazy to do all the luascripting and SDK stuff needed for No HUD, so I cropped it out. I need to get a shot of my real Civ, though. My friends and I are in a currently 14-hour long game. And its probably half over. Shit's crazy! I'm learning so much.

Okay, that fire is ridiculous... everyone else just needs to stop doing whatever they're doing with fire and do this.

Agree with you here. They've done a great job of making the flame thrower look and act realistically. Great effects, especially on the night level. Looks a lot better in motion.
