One random thought: the campsite might be the most useful pub work in the game. It allows you to try out villagers and if you like them you can invite them to your town. I just finally got a lion (Leonardo), which I'd been craving. Better than waiting for randoms to move in (and get a SECOND hippo as I did . . . jeesh!).

Seems like you could fix that just by tweaking the palette a bit.

it doesn't really matter, they'll probably say something if you talk to them on the same day, but that's about it. at worst, it may subtract a couple points from that invisible happiness score.

I'm starting to setup the cobblestone one. This will be my first AC using paths (Population Growing didn't have them and I didn't have the patience for it in Wild World).

They are quite similar, so you could probably just overwrite the grass one with this one in winter.

1. Lack of skintone options.

2. Can't copy and paste content from letters.

Both are stupid.

The developers never really intended for towns to be plastered with patterns. If they wanted people to do that there's surely better ways than have players go around putting down patterns one by one. So the solution should be to introduce a different mechanic rather than just to have path-pattern storage spaces.

How long have you played? My museum opportunity came at exactly 14 days, which I think is the minimum.

1. It takes 14 straight days of talking for Blathers to suggest the upgrade.
2. Not sure about this one! (Sorry)

Donate at least 20 items to the museum, with at least one from each category (bugs, fish/deep sea fish, fossils, works of art). Then talk to Blathers each day. One day, he will be thinking about something. Talk to him and he will talk about the museum shop. After that, the museum shop will be added to the list of things you can build in your town. Just sit in your mayor chair and ask to build something, then choose the museum shop.

Spend at least 8000 bells in the Able Sisters' shop to unlock the shoe store, Kicks. It must be at least ten days since the town was created.

There are time requirements for main street upgrades. The Museum upgrade doesn't become available until 2 weeks after you become mayor and donate 20 items with at least 1 in every category. Kicks is 10 days after becoming mayor and spending 8,000 bells at Able Sisters.
