Thanks to the summer sale I'm now enjoying DmC and totally regretting not purchasing it before. I quickly got over the fact that it isn't Bayo and I'm enjoying the hell out of it.

Is Chivalry well-populated? I imagine the player population will increase after sales but is the community as it stands decently large and active?

Just picked up Chivalry. First purchase I've made with non-card money this sale.
Yep, there's a bunch of filled servers
It's always had a pretty stable community, and it gradually increases after the sales crowd dies down because obviously some people will keep playing it. The core community however can sometimes be a bit intolerable in terms of personality.
Chivalry was well populated before the sales, community is fairly sizable.

It's usually quite active most evenings, not a huge playerbase but there's a heap of games.on.net servers with 4 of them pretty active right now and it's the middle of the day.
Monaco gets put up for voting once and lost horribly against some game that's always on sale and it hasn't even been repeated yet

I don't think I've ever had trouble finding a full server. It's really fun. Sometimes I play it just to mess around and chop heads off in a shitshow free for all, other times I actually pay attention and get really into team deathmatch. The combat is great, with simple but deep mechanics, but you can also just get by with spamming horizontal attacks (pissing off and killing your teammates in the process, no doubt) and still have fun while learning the game.

It was cheaper (about $6) when FC3 was a flash sale a while ago. Not likely to go back to that price though.
