You shouldn't reframe the turn of the events. Like always, i browse the board, and i fall upon someone saying that i had an agenda by reporting that my sources weren't as enchanted by the PS4 situation back in the day as the majority of the Internet was proclaiming. So i'm just defending the legitimacy of my sources and explain why i believe in them as they were right before. For your first point, well, the posts and edits date are for all to see so yes, the data is "left it at that".
Now, if we could go back to interesting subjects, it would be cool

I understand your point and in my very first post on GAF, i encouraged people to take the second-hand info i will give with a grain of salt. But there is a difference between doubting, expressed in a polite manner, (and to which i generally don't react) and harsh comments like "your sources are your ass" that i can't let pass, hence why my intervention.
It's gonna be a translation/rehash of the RAM architecture, nothing else. It's pretty obvious from the first couple of tweets that guy made.

There was never any "statement"*. I'm betting they got confused over the RAM architecture, thought it was a downgrade (ie, the "difference isn't as big as it used to be" tweet), contacted Sony for clarification. That's that.
* In a later tweet he suggested that. Not a statement as such, more like a confirmation/rebuttal sort of thing.

So, do we all know why (roughly) the people on GAF who are waiting at the chance to bash the PS4? I honestly don't care if they (Sony) deserves it, but from the posts I've read, some people are grasping at anything to make sure the PS4 gets a negative something.
I know the Xbox One has been getting ragged on a lot, but they did inflict it upon themselves.
Summary of the happenings should be in the OP just to stop all the "What happened" posts.
