Please get better artists NetherRealm, the clunkyness is part of what Mortal Kombat is but all the character models don't necessarily have to look like plastic dolls.

I think as far as priorities go:

- Gameplay design (teetering on abysmal, but also partially responsible for clunkiness)
- Animators (very much also responsible for the clunkiness)
- Artists (MK9 was pretty good, very cohesive, Injustice not so)

It's weird, because a lot of the concept art in Injustice is gorgeous and then the actual models themselves are crap. That's before you get to the fact that every environment or stage in the game is just horrible and filled with some of the fugliest textures too. Some of the story environments you could have swore you were looking at a PS2 game, like when they're going through the city.

The music in injustice was also an afterthought it seems. It's literally the soundtrack of any one of syfy channel's B-movies slapped into the game.

NRS licensed the use of UE3 until 2014. Maybe they'll upgrade to UE4 and hopefully not be lazy and build a new engine or at least a heavily modified engine on top of that that they can carry into future titles too. The time for change is now.

Well that was cringe worthy. Go check the MK forums, tons of people report lag and massive slowdown online.

Also, isn't it frowned upon around here to try and act superior by calling people juniors?

There were lag spikes and sometimes it would crawl to like 3 fps for a couple seconds

Still bummed tho. I'd be playing this nonstop if the online was better.

That's what happens when the port is shitty and doesn't get patched. I went on yesterday and one person was online. ONE PERSON. I tried playing and it was a Noob Saibot spamming the usual in unplayable lag. I can't even begin to describe how fun it was.

Every online match I've had has been laggy.

game feels a bit laggier than xbox version for me.

What rig do you have and which settings are you running at? I run it maxed out on this rig at 1440x900p with no issues at all with the exception of laggy online multiplayer. It runs smooth as butter offline.

Also MK9 doesn't have a good netcode. You can't play the game effectively online. Shit is underwater fighting. By far one of the worst fighting games online this gen.
