As someone who just training for about 6 months learning that a buff body is rarely attainable without steroids is disheartening.

Also, wtf is this he wrote about curls not being good bicep building exercise?

Yes, almost every single one of us are all-natty and those that aren't freely discuss it. No smoke and mirrors here.

I've said this before, but I feel Zyzz's appeal was largely with young men who still hold a grudge about being overlooked by women in middle and high school.

and rather than getting better messages about how those days are are bullshit as far as relationships go, and it gets better as you and everyone around you grows the hell up, they get told to be like Zyzz

Hey can I get a good 45 min Arm routine?

Trying to mix it up, going to the gym today for lunch.

That's a long time to spend with just arms. I'd focus on even more things!

I'd go with high volume low weight skullcrushers
OHP
DB curls
Bent-over rows

That'll probably be your 45 minutes there.

Just like they did to him while he was a skinny nerd. His girlfriend was always checking out the buff guys and broke up with him before his transformation.

Oh I see, he became the "asshole"' every "nice guy" on the internet pretend they're not. So he fulfilled the pathetic revenge fantasies every scorned nerds harbors :/

Oh and by the way, "they"? Really, every girl is a slut because his girlfriend broke up with him?

I've posted in there before. Still a very daunting thread to be in.

I'll help you in any way I possibly can - the one issue a lot of people run into is that they don't get an answer to their question. People are rarely ignored, but we all fall silent if we cannot give accurate advice. I would hate, hate, HATE to give someone bad advice - and my heart goes out to someone with a condition I'm not familiar with that is seeking help, but we can't cover everything.

But we try. <3 Hope to see you in there more often.

So much hate in here from people who think they've got everything figured.

Oh well, everyone's going to have their opinion. I only learned about Zyzz after his death, but I really enjoyed a lot of the videos he put out. He seemed like a pretty fun guy to be around and he really didn't seem to be an asshole outside of the times he was just messing around with people and playing up the stereotype for fun.

It's obvious that he's been inspiring to a lot of people, and that's a good thing, I'd say. Just because he inspired people doesn't mean they're going to follow down his path of cycling steroids.

For those who feel inspired, this might be of help;

"tren Ace – 150mg every day for 12-14 weeks
test Prop – 150mg every day for 14-16 weeks
T3 (Cytomel) – 25mcg twice a day all cycle
clen – 80mcg every day, two weeks on and two weeks off – all cycle"

And remember, while this seems like a lot, even for pro body builders, he died because of a heart condition. </sarcasm>

What? No.

I agree. What people like about the dude is his positive attitude. It's infectious, and although it can be interpreted as arrogant (rightly), I think if he gets people thinking positively about their own potential, he did good in this world.

He proved that he could treat girls like shit and they'd still want him

All women? Or just the specific, shallow type of women that people figure out aren't worth the time once they become adults. Ones who fake-bake 7 days a week and take similar shortcuts to stay skinny because its all about the goal.

I doubt zyzz's death had anything to do with his steroid use. Probably a combination of having a heart condition + using cocaine + being on thermogenics all the time + being in a sauna.

Maybe only the sauna killed him, shit dangerous

Well I was thinking Bi's and Tri's today.

How about pull ups to warm up
Hammer Dumbbell curls 5 sets 10-12 reps
Straight bar 21's 4 sets
Dips 4 sets
Skull Crushers 4 sets
rope Pull down 4 sets

You're joking, right?

Anyway he was just a funny troll, that's all. Haters can say "lol just another juicer steroids lol pathetic" all they want, without realizing that even when taking steroids it takes a LOT of work to get big. You still have to be in the gym every day. You still have to eat a lot. it's not just "insert needle and become huge" like many people think. He still motivated a lot of people, and did some funny things in the process. His doucheyness was just a character he played. Why? Well it got him a lot of followers and allowed him to make a living off it.

RIP

You'll gain more muscles on roids while doing nothing than working your ass off at the gym naturally

Go for it brah, I forgot about dips! All of these sets should take the majority of your lunch hour no doubt. I'd go with less sets if you're crunched for time on the straight bar 21s. I wouldn't ignore the normal db curls in exchange for the hammer curls. I would maybe add some reverse grip db curls or preacher curls brah.

And yeah OHP is overhead press, my faaaavorite. Just don't do it seated!

Sounds good. I probably will drop it down to 3 sets since I am pressed for time.
THX

I love seated behind the head, then in front of the head like down to the top of the chest. God what a pump you get.

Why would he go to heaven?

He is literally an angel. Furthered the human race. A true humanitarian in that sense. It's kind of like the real equivalent of Buddhism really - you see Zyzz, and you see a mirror of what you can be. Who you can be. And you look like your mirror's reflection. You better yourself.

Dude, it totally is possible.

Check out the Fitness thread. Cool dudes in there more than happy to help.

So what exactly is his greatest achievement?

Don't take roids.

We had a link to a study in another thread that proved this. It was a gain of 4 pounds of muscle mass for people exercising and 7 pounds of muscles for people not exercising but taking roids in the same timeframe.

Edit: beaten.

He inspired people. His greatest achievement is when he achieved peak aesthetics. When he told people they can be sick cunts if they want to be. Truly motivating, and even in death, it serves as an example not to fly too close to the sun - that you need to moderate what you do. Change your lifestyle.

That shit is holy brah. If that's not insurance to get into heaven by helping people, I don't know what is.

If anything it's a cautionary tale. Don't take roids, don't be an asshole, take care of yourself beyond vanity and don't ever believe that being huge means you're healthy.

He didn't know the end of his story. We do. We can all learn from it. We must.

10 weeks study:

Group 2 (no exercise, drug use) was able to build about 7 pounds of muscle. That’s not a typo. The group receiving testosterone injections and NOT working out at all gained 7 pounds of muscle.

Group 3 (exercise, natural) was able to build about 4 pounds of muscle.

My apologies, I guess my views weren't in line with reality.

Let's just be real about it. We all WANT to believe, those of us not on gear, that we can achieve it and that it's better to not be on steroids because it's an easy way to get where you are. But the truth...it's a gamble, a big gamble. And when you're all-natty and see people getting manster shredded, it's disheartening and it makes you want to hate on it. It's tough.

Fuck it. Be yourself. You CAN attain the physique you want, it's just not as easy. Also keep in mind people OFF their steroid cycle lose a lot of things, and there's some mental issues that can come out of it as well.

i like zyzz also for the inspiration and the lulz not for ther oids. also /fit/ while total bullshit is just damn funny

God I find this study very disheartening for some reason.
Being disheartened is easy to understand. As humans, we look for the easiest way to get things done. Taking roids, in this case, is the "easy" way out. Its sad to see people who take roids trumping those who work hard and dedicate a lot of time to building muscle.

Why did his existence anger you so much?

I don't, you most likely lose the gains once you're off it, that's why they're always cycling.

There are some obvious steroid users in my gym, I lift considerably more than them and look like a human being. I personally take pride in being all natural, and it's even better when people think I am on something.

actually he's right, roids work that's the point/problem. You're lean body mass can grow on the right stuff while being sedentary. When our cows are injected with tren, they aren't made to do squats deadlifts and read mark rippetoe literature, they just feed them and they blow up. Some guys on gear will tell you otherwise only because this undermines their hard work, obviously being sedentary when you spend a shit ton on exogenous hormones isn't optimal.

This. Steroids are a life sentence if you're already near peak condition. You can't blow up to stupid amounts of lean mass and expect to be able to maintain it when you cycle off.

look at Chestbrah. Iv'e never seen anybody inflate/deflate as much as he did. Most people I know that used steroids are not big fitness buffs, they start lifting on a cycle for a few months, get hulked up than never lift again.

Chestbrah is a huge bummer and pretty much reinforces that it's hell to maintain, and what being off cycle does to you.

Sorry Chestbrah.
