(If you are) Why are you getting an XBox One?

1) Launch Lineup Exclusives (DR3, Crimson Dragon)
2) Kinect 2.0 (my favorite phrases "Xbox Pause" "Xbox Next Episode")
3) Faith in it having the best OS in town
4) Controller
5) Titanfall

Will get a PS4 sometime next year

titanfall
everyone I play games in real life with will be on live like last gen

and I have money to burn to get both consoles

I've owned every Playstation and Xbox but I've always felt more at home on MS consoles. I like the UI, controller and most importantly games more.
I'm a big Halo and Fable fan so I'm looking forward to next year especially but for now games like DR3 and BF4 will tide me over.

Microsoft publish a lot of games I like - Halo, Gears of War, PGR (RIP :(), Alan Wake, Fable. They get other exclusives I like, they did a fantastic job with XBLA this generation, multiplayer is (in my opinion) best on XBL, paying for gold shows.

I much prefer the controller and MS have announced a lot of games I want to play: Ryse, Quantum Break, Dead Rising 3, KI, Project Spark and Fable Legends. Interested in Black Tusk IP, Sunset Overdrive, Below…

Sony haven't announced much in the retail space that I want, only Killzone and Knack. I'll get a PS4 next year.

I have to be in at launch for next gen consoles, but both the PS4 and the Xbox One have pretty poor launch lineups in terms of exclusives (I play multiplatform games on PC) - so getting the Xbox One (+PS4) should hopefully make it seem there are at least some decent console exclusive games to play.

I like the exclusives more, Halo, Titanfall, Dead Rising, Killer Instinct, Sunset Overdrive, Crackdown. Games that use to be exclusive to Sony are now multi-plat, MGS:V, Final Fantasy. New games are multi-plat, Destiny, The Division, ESO.

My friends all play on Xbox, I like the OS more, like the controller more, like the Kinect OS funtionality and have an entire generations worth of achievement score to follow me.

Although I am getting both consoles (cuz of first party games) I have a preference for XB1.
I strongly believe 3-4 years after console launches the Xbox One people will start to understand the Xbox One, what the digital push actually meant for gamers and how it will be to their benefit.

Plus if previous console history holds up we will see more evolution of services/content added on the xbox end.

I was always getting one, but Project Spark has come to excite me.

DR3, TV features, UI. I'm just ready for the next thing.

I plan to get a PS4 at launch, but I'll be buying an Xbox One either around the launch of TitanFall or next fall. I want to wait a bit to see if they do drop Kinect, but even if they don't I'll probably go for it, especially if Halo launches next year. Gonna be hard missing out on Forza, but I'll manage :/

Metal Gear Solid 4 and the PSP games were pretty much the only Sony exclusive Metal Gear Solid games.

Strong Online Infrastructure with LIVE
I've always been an Xbox guy
Consoles are essentially the same after 180's, power differential wont come into play until much later on
Controller
I can spare an extra $100
Kinect looks neat
Halo/Forza

PS4 will come later, once it's heavy hitting exclusives start to release.

I'm getting a One maybe a year later. By then they'll have some exclusive that's not halo/titanfall that isn't on PC. If they don't have an SKU that excludes Kinect I'm most likely going to find one on ebay for $400 hopefully.

Picking up both at launch most likely. For Xbox it's all about the existing infrastructure and the games. DR3, Crimson Dragon, Forza, Titanfall and KI.

1) Next gen so excited
2) Games like Killer Instinct, Ryse, etc
3) Kinect 2.0 (never tried kinect so I'm excited to try it out also play my little sister can have fun too)
4) OS/services/TV( i like those things I wish we knew more about tv and how it will work in europe)
5) Great controller

Better games, better controller, Kinect 2.0, XBox Live, and because the XBox One is actually more powerful than the PS4 and will have better graphics.

I am getting one because I like a lot of MS exclusives. MP was also much better on 360 and I havent seen anything yet that would point to that changing next gen. I have a group of people that I play online with and for the most part they all seem to be getting XB1's. My wife and I am both getting an XB1 and we like being able to share all digital purchases, MS has already confirmed that will be the same on the XB1 as it was on the 360. I am also really interested to see how the new kinect and TV will work.

Edit: Plus Crimson Dragon, I would buy a console for that game along. I love all the PD games, the Saturn is one of my favorite consoles of all time and I am so excited to see what they do with that game.

I received the Xbox and Xbox 360 as presents from my parents. Barring any hardware issues I will get the Xbox One because I am comfortable using Xbox consoles. And of course, the games! Microsoft does care about working with Japanese game developers, and they've even gotten some exclusives due to collaborations (they worked with the creator of Final Fantasy to get exclusives for the Xbox 360, for example). Actually, now that I can buy my own consoles, I am sure I will own both the PS4 and Xbox One in addition to my WiiU, there's just too many good games for all consoles that I couldn't dare miss out on any of them just because I didn't have the console.

I'm not getting a Xbox One. But if I was, it would be for TitanFall. That game looks great and I can see myself spending hours on the Multiplayer for that.

Have more interest in there launch games, but that doesn't mean that I won't get a PS4. Just going to wait a few months before I get one.

I will probably buy an Xbox One when Quantum Break releases. I wasn't a big fan of Alan Wake, but I'm always excited for a new Remedy game.

Better games, better controller, Kinect 2.0, XBox Live, and because the XBox One is actually more powerful than the PS4 and will have better graphics.

What makes you say that?

I'm digging the launch lineup. I'm digging the prospects of the OS/UI. Pretty much all my friends will be migrating to XB1 for CoD/Titanfall/dedicated-servers.

And yes, Kinect. This thing is looking pretty darn awesome and all the hands on articles I've read have been positive. That you can control your other entertainment devices with your voice is intriguing. It has been already compared to a Harmony remote. So the prospect of controlling your home lights etc.../home automation is very appealing to me and my wife.

Because I get all systems.

Through I will say I'm more excited for XB1 at this point.

Mainly because of history with my usage of Live, LOVE LIVE.

Iguess my reasoning would be that there are several launch games that I'm looking forward to (BF4,DR3,KI,CD), my friends are probably going to be getting it and I've like what I've seen from Kinect. Even if it doesn't end up being used for gaming much it's other uses are worth the extra $100 for me.

1. I like technology.
2. XBL
3. Friends
4. CoD with dedicated servers
5. Controller
6. HALO
7. Skype with friends while playing a game.

I really like Forza, and the new game excites me more than just about every next gen game we've seen, barring maybe Infamous.

I'm getting both consoles, but the exclusives at launch are much better for the One IMO.

Despite the hate here on NeoGaf, I think Ryse and Dead Rising 3 look pretty damn awesome. I'm getting those along with Forza and probably Crimson Dragon.

The Xbox 360 controller was the best controller I've ever used so I have faith that the One controller will follow suit. Also, the 360 Live environment was much better and faster than the PS3 Network for me. I just hope Microsoft continues the free games with Gold program as Sony is whipping them in the Plus versus Live department on that one.

Being in SE Asia I'm probably one of the few people to say I want the Xbone over PS4 but I really want it early (probably will get PS4 in a year or 2)

- Love playing videogame with my wife and daughter, and we like hosting parties (kinect)
- More variety launch lineup for initial next-gen experience (DR3, Forza, Ryse, Killer Instinct, Crimson Dragon)
