As I continue my investigation, I realized something else about the mirror picture which further indicates that is is photoshopped.
The bathroom counter is all off.
Compare it to this:
The edge of the sink to the end of the counter seems off.
The faucet seems to be too long
All the angles are off. If you look at the angle of the camera, and imaging the light hitting the mirror, it reflection of the faucet would be different
Given the angle he is holding the camera and his distance from the mirror it is unlikely the the bathroom counter would even be in the frame.
There doesn't appear to be anything separating the mirror from the counter, which is abnormal.
Look at these Selfies as a comparison
And given how the counter and sink are shown in the image you would expect it to look like this
See how much of the counter is in the image. This is due to the difference in angle and distance from the mirror, also note that the faucet is in the image unlike the other examples. However, in the picture taken by Chris, the faucet is also showing, which is bizarre given that the angle of the camera matches the first set of selfies much better than the above image.
Going back the fotoforensics image
There appears to be a lot of abnormal rainbowing at the edge of the counter.
This may indicate that the bathroom counter is photoshopped in the picture.
If anyone has an Iphone, could they do some field tests? It would great if someone could test if it possible to take such a photo with the phone at that angle and at a similar distance from the mirror.
