PS4 also does it. It's for performance reasons.
I know that it's the reason in the first place. I'm saying that they can put in here all the DRM they want. One install per disc is easily doable with an OS update.

If they have hardware to write some kind of identifier that associates the game with a gamertag and home console like that patent from Sony, then yes.Chû Totoro;80501317 said:I know that it's the reason in the first place. There are currently 81+ apps and features behind the XBone Gold Paywall.

That's 80 features PS4 has for free (given they add some of those apps they are missing like Sky and such)

For some, it seems. And they may be very disappointed with what could come on the PS4 or just around the corner with the gen after. (same with Microsoft of course... or Nintendo)Any company can pretty much do whatever they want once you buy the system. Is this a surprise?
Never trust any company. Sounds paranoid, but seriously.
Has Major Nelson apologised to the poor interviewer he grabbed the microphone from and talked down to?

Um, I wasn't talking about that but okay. Please, get over yourself. People like myself aren't blind enough to easily forgive a certain company for pulling such ridiculous stunts like you are.
Whatever. There are tons of people who are fans of physical media much more so than digital.
The same plans, eh? Really. Really?
Exactly like the PS3! Stop spreading FUD.
Well, we have no reason to believe the worst. We have no reason to believe in the best either. The only thing to do is to wait and see.
Chû Totoro;80503841 said:I said imo. I just think that it's almost impossible that Microsoft wanted alone to do this while not having any benefits for exclusives or whatever favor editors like EA or Activision would have done to them.
Chû Totoro;80503841 said:And please read my posts... I said that what was a bad thing on PS3 and it doesn't necessarily have to come on PS4, they just chose to keep it despite nobody liked this.
Free online is now only on Wii U and PS3 so they'll have other surprises for us.
yes, sadly.
I hope they stay there.
I think Angry Joe is getting by.
Are you fucking kidding me? Tell me you're joking PLEASE.

"Look, at Xbox, we really care about the community," Hryb replied when asked point-blank how Microsoft would win back consumers. "We're very focused on what is right for gamers. Everybody at Xbox is a gamer. It's not like we just show up, do our work and go home. We want to make this the best game system that you are going to own for the next 10 years."
dat spin. I saw it several times and he never screamed. At best he raised his voice... at BEST. E3 is a loud venue.Joe never screamed at him. Just asked him tough questions.

This is what I said when I saw it the first time:This, honestly offends me as consumer and a person. I feel like I'm being treated like a god damn fool here, it is such a crock of shit.
I feel alienated with by this. I've been relaxing more and more about the DRM shit they tried to pull, but now trying to spin that they designed the Xbox One to do all the things they list while some of those things are the result of the 180 they had to do is just insulting.

They all will until late 2014. Welcome!

This has nothing to do with the fact that I'm buying a PS4 and like Sony's philosophy for the upcoming generation. They are advertising against everything they were trying to implement and so firmly believed in. As an informed consumer, how can I possibly just forget what Microsoft was trying to originally accomplish with the xbone?
This graphic insults the intelligence of GAF hivemind to unforgivable levels.![]()

You can make something that isn't for NeoGAF without lying to the people that are on NeoGAF.Seems to me like they're advertising against misinformation. Many people aren't aware of the 180's and still think some of the old policies are in place. That advertising/chart was not made for NeoGAF.
I'm just saying it'd be nice, is all.You feel like Microsoft owes you a 500 dollar console for policies you didnt agree with and never affected you? Yeah, ok
As much as I enjoy slinging my feces at MS like a poorly behaved monkey at the zoo, I can't really blame them for this. There is still probably a significant number of people out there who don't know about all the 180's, this is fairly educational. Although I'd agree it'd be nice if they hadn't had to do this by just being decent in the first place.![]()

Xbox is not longer trust worthy until a new CEO is in placed and an actual game industry veteran is installed to run the division.
Hire some one in the caliber of Peter moore and I give a shit about your console Microsoft.
