Ok so just went through Brayflox for the first time...that final boss was a bitch. Things were hindered in large part because as a BLM I couldn't figure out how to do the damn limit break. Any thoughts on how to target the ground and do a limit break as a THM/BLM on the PS3?

Had an awesome Stone Vigil party, which was also my first time doing it, with 2 other people from the GAF FC and a random tank (a fantastic one by the way) that happened to be from Ultros as well.
We tore through the dungeon, survived everything except wiping once to the last boss. Still it was a blast of a chatty party, I had a lot of fun and got a bit scared as well during some pulls.
 
I guess there'll be a surge of newcomers to this game when reviews come out and some on the fence gamers realise the game is actually good.

Hopefully they let me move my character to another server before then.
 
Finally broke down and ordered two physical copies from the square store. No idea why they are selling physical copies and not letting Amazon. Now I have to wait a week for it to arrive instead of two days from my prime shipping or immediate from digital down load. Oh well.....

For anyone who has leveled BLM and ACN...

I'm a 50BLM and I was helping the girlfriend do Titan (Lv36 cap) on BLM. Now, when I did this myself, I SWEAR I had Physick available so I could cure myself.

Anyways, I tried using it when I helped her and kept getting "Class not supported" or "Action on this class not available." Something along those lines.

I couldn't get much help in game, so I submitted a ticket (like that'll ever get answered). Can anyone confirm the earliest level BLM is able to use ACN's Physick spell? It's a level 4 ACN spell...

You probably had physick on the fifth slot of the cross skills, since it lowered you to the max level for normal titan (39?) It disabled that fifth cross skill slot.

Shit, for real? I switched to a computer I hadn't had the game previously on and it kinda had everything there, but a mess. I didn't know slots mattered like that. Thank you so much. I'll have to mess with it later.

i mean, if you paypal, and they don't come through, it's quite easy to get money back. plus there's the feedback list as well.

PayPal account was hacked not even two days ago. Now waiting for PayPal to handle my dispute over that ( several hundred dollars). Wife bought a shirt using PayPal from someone on etsy. They never shipped the shirt and etsy closed that persons account because they got a number of complaints. Disputed the charge with PayPal and they refused to refund the money..... Not really a fan of PayPal.
 
Okay, I caved in and got it.

So it seems like a lot of the GAF action is on Ultros and Ultros is still completely filled up (and Sargatanas is legacy). Is there another server that GAF members usually go to besides Ultros?
 
Anyone use the cellphone security token app and have it ask for your registration information again? I can't re-unlock it and my account still says that I need my one-time password to log in.
 
One of my friends wants to play on Ultros with me, any idea when the restrictions will stop? What's the most up-to-date source about where character creation is possible and where it isn't?
 
Anyone have a good resource for helping identify which gathering/crafting jobs are best for you based on your playstyles/preferences?

That should seriously be labeled or something. A completely vague error of "cannot use as current class" is not helpful, at all.
 
BWAHAHA, I am a fucking hero. Was just doing Cutters' Cry and up to the final boss. We got him down to about 10% hp, before everyone in the group wiped except for me. So it's just down to me and the boss. I then proceed to tank him for like 2 minutes straight by myself. At this point, it's almost certain that I'm going to wipe as well, but I use my cooldowns and fancy kiting to keep my hp up. Just as I run out of cooldowns and it seems like I'm done for, I finish him off singehandedly.

Woot, I'm awesome.
 
Well it either seems like my account was hacked or something happened with my security token. I can't use the token anymore as it's asking for my a one-time password to access it and I no longer have that password anymore.

It seems like I have a long wait til SE gets back to me on a resolution. Not sure what happened or why the phone app reset itself and my information when it worked earlier today with no problem.

at what levels do you get more slots for cross skills?
 
Is there anyway to make hotbars 2~10 similar to hotbar1 where you can actually scroll through different bars? Hate having to enable/disable bars for solo/party....

Well luckily, the boss often paused to charge up an attack, so this gave me more time to pop cooldowns, run away, etc. etc.

If the fight had gone on much longer though, I wouldn't have made it, honestly
