So I just clocked this game. Wow!
Other than the Exp. Share KILLING the need to grind experience I really enjoyed it.
My team as of now is:
Delphox - Level 79
Blastoise - Level 68
Haxorus - Level 68
Pidgeot - Level 66
Lucario - Level 65
Absol - Level 65
With Delphox being the active Pokémon 90-95% of the time you can see the sort of experience spread that the Exp. Share gives.
Does anyone know how to enter the boutique in the Paris-esque city by the way? I figured when I became the Champion I would be allowed in but I guess maybe I have to grind around Coffee shops / Cafés to increase my reputation in the city before they let me enter?
What the hell. Even for a rush that's incredible.

Also, wished the clothing/hair options would leak already. I kinda want to make mine male but all the clothing options for that is so ugly. :/

I guess our definitions are different. Either way this is how I typically play Pokémon games since generation 2 - then go back and check stuff I've missed and make good Pokémon.
A rush would be skipping lots of trainers and items I guess.

Is EV training even still in the game? I thought they replaced it with those minigames or something where you can "super train" pokemon in like 25 minutes.

Yeah but that's EV training lol. I still want to know the number spread i should go for with Fennekin with the games.

Who else is trying to catch everything before they leave an area? Only ones I think I've missed so far are Lunatone, Kangaskan and Minun

I ran out of Pokeballs for a stretch so I'll be going back. There's so many damn Pokemon now though!

I'm a little over two hours and I'm about to go inside the first gym. I'm taking my sweet time but I don't think I can manage to play 13 more hours before reaching the second gym.
And I need to figure out how this super training stuff works. I reckon there's no good guide on that yet?

I think it's there from the start right? I just played some weird mini game where I was shooting balls with my Pikachu and after it his defense went up +4. And then I punched a bag with Pikachu like he was Mike Tyson. But I really have to figure out how I can influence certain stats and how these mini games work

At the moment I've got 2 ideas for that. First would be that it's to do with getting a high rank in those battle cafes around town, since the boutique owners says to visit some places around town. Second would be wearing stylish clothing, I've noticed clothing items you buy have different backgrounds and I found a couple with a fancy background so maybe they are more stylish than others?
It's definitely not for visiting every place in town like you'd think from her dialogue, since I've already done that.

Yeah, I own every piece of clothing available in those shops now. I have like sakura petals flash when I change stuff in the changing room so maybe I should play around with that and try some sparkles or something.
You may be onto something with the battle cafés though.
Most people are clocking 30+. 17 is abnormally fast from what I've seen.

Ah, you've had petals? I tried on an outfit earlier and got some kind of woodland effect and a different jingle to when you normally change stuff. I definitely think there is some kind of outfit classification going on if you wear a number of similar type items together.
Also note that the clothing choices in the shops change daily, so unless you've done some time travelling you might not have everything.

1.7 gigs which I think ends up being around 40,000 blocks? Or is it 4,000, I can't remember the conversion rate.

Almost 6 hours in, haven't even reached the second gym and I love everything about this.
Well except one thing: The framerate in abttles in 3D is really really atrocious. Like seriously bad. it takes a lot of fun out of the game for me to see the game chugging along at like 10-15 fps

Does anyone have more information on what the hell that Friend Safari thing is? You can catch Pokemon there to use in your game file? So it's basically confirmed that you can get the other Kanto Starters there since that dude uploaded that video of him fighting a Wartortle?

The stone for whichever Kanto starter is strong against what you choose is buyable from a guy in the evolution stone shop in Lumiose for about 100k

Well, I don't know cartridge sizes, but, for comparison, Shin Megami Tensei IV is 14,334 blocks, Animal Crossing: New Leaf is 6,000, and Super Mario 3D Land is 2,318 blocks.
...and for the one who's weaker?
Darn it, now I have to go looking for two Charizard stones.
