Woo, I'm the champion! Even though I was incredibly overleveled for the fights, it still felt really good, especially the scene that happens after you become champ. The Elite 4 music and Champion theme was awesome too.

I evolved nincada at 20 with 2 open spots in my roster and like 40 pokeballs on hand. I read that it requires 1 slot and 1 pokeball on hand. Not sure if it was different before
edit: it did work

Naw I didn't keep track of the number of resets but I probably spent like a total of ~8 hours doing it. Congrats on the shiny Chespin.

I hate sturdy so fucking much. Fighting a 53 Bonsly with my 80 tyrantrum. I get him to 1hp because he has sturdy, and he uses counter and 1 shots my Tyrantrum. -_-'

think of it as Slow Motion, not a framerate lag.
I evolved Nincada into Ninjask with a space in my party and plenty of balls, but no Shedinja for me

Hawlucha don't need no evolution. He's already the second most badass Pokemon ever.
So, I'm surprised that GameFreak felt like making a legendary that could essentially one-shot my whole team. Then again, I only had one Pokemon who wasn't weak to either flying or Dark. Which was Pikachu. Who has laughable survivability.

I'm currently too lazy/bored to keep resetting for a good natured Bulbasaur. Game Freak needs to stop putting these event Pokemon behind a long cutscene wall.
