Yeah, it struck me as just using people as props for emotional manipulation which doesn't sit super well with me. I think the issue deserves being handled with a bit more tact than dozens of people getting hitched on live TV, but maybe I'm overthinking.

Perhaps the lack of tact is a good thing. Gay marriage really shouldn't be as big of a big deal as it is (or basically, only as big of a deal as heterosexual marriage), so treating it like the Grammy's did may be beneficial towards integrating it towards regular society.

None of the genres I like are exactly mass-market listening so I couldn't care less about 'em.

The grammys were tacky as shit. It was so embarrassing.

Which I can empathize with, considering the only two people I've talked to for more than 5 minutes who had a stable marriage are currently dead and widowed respectively.

Latter. I've seen successful marriages, and train wreck marriages. It's just that it doesn't mean anything to me, and I think new couples would be wiser by spending that money elsewhere. Again, I wouldn't oppose if my partner really wants to do it, but even then I'd like it to be very simple and unpretentious.

In my opinion the act of marriage starts the time to form a family, which would bea huge decision as it comes with responsabilities and sacrifices but it represents for me the time to get seripus wih the relationship.

As I said, is just my opinion, I'm fine with people not giving a fuck about marriage but for some people it could symbolize a milestone. Specially for people who want to have kids.

Do you stick to a particular calorie intake/specific foods to gain? Been working on gaining mass for a while now, and protein shakes and chipotle burritos are becoming a staple for me.
