I only saw the CVG review and assumed it was like that across the board. Glad to see most people are actually enjoying it.

Definitely excited to play this, but the mention of stealth sequences in several of the reviews worries me greatly because combining stealth with silly controls doesn't sound great.

wtf happened to this game on the PS4? How come it's coming two months after PC release? Does anyone know why that's the case?

If I were to venture a guess.

They had the PC ver finished and they are still working on PS4 ver.

Given that Sony doesn't have a parity clause, they decided to release the PC ver to start getting income for the PS4 ver.

The panning some reviewers give because of the controls doesn't really surprise me. Kotaku's review is right to point out that Octodad really is a two-joke game: You're an octopus and You're terrible at this game. If those two things sound like fun, jump on in.

Loved the original. Can't wait for this to hit PS4.

Enjoying the game so far. Disappointed it's short but at least it's got the Workshop stuff.

That CVG review is honestly one of the worst game reviews I've ever read. The author so thoroughly missed the point that it's comical.

God yes. I have about 8 hours played with the title, and I never once thought it was "unbearable" due to the control scheme. Isn't that the entire point?

My favorite part is the one about the objectives being so mundane, and then saying "maybe it's supposed to be part of the joke." Of course it fucking is.

Sorry March is still a ways off, ya'll. We're doing our best to get it out the door ASAP.

We'd been working on the PC release long before we hooked up with Sony, and we promised it to Kickstarter backers first.

Truth is that we're running out of money to pay rent, eat food, and those sorts of things so we wanted to get it out on PC first to give ourselves some cushion to finish the PS4 version.

Hope you enjoyed the trailer!

Like the reviews so far. Sounds like a cool party game! It was quite obvious that it wasn't going to be unanimously praised.

That was the plan all along. They wanted to get the PC version out first and focus on PS4 development. The said it in an interview a couple of months ago.

This game is being octoficially hyped by some media outlets.

Have to agree with this. I won't deny it being a fun game, but some people are making it out to be more than it is, like Surgeon Simulator. I guess that's ok though to a lot of people since it isn't a AAA game.
