Wake Up Call
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=215391743
Wake Up Call is a next-generation sci-fi stealth-action shooter with a heavy emphasis on choice-driven gameplay and story in a unique and atmospheric post-apocalyptic world. Wake Up Call follows Kyle Rogers, an ex-special operations soldier who has been awakened after one hundred and fifty years of cryostasis sleep. Kyle quickly gets sucked into an alien Earth where conflict has broken out between the tyrannical Kalders and The Scarred, a guerrilla resistance group. Little do the factions of the world know, a massive station full of thousands of humans locked away in cryostasis lies beneath the ground, shrouded in mystery, and it won’t be long before Kyle realizes that the secrets of this world are far more dangerous than what caused the apocalypse in the first place.

Wake Up Call looks interesting, but I kind of agree with the comment that it might belong in the concepts section for now. It appears to be almost purely concept art with only a tiny bit of ingame action so far.

If they succeed at such an ambitious project then I'm all for voting on it, though.

Kickstarter ?

Will wait to get funded to vote on greenlight

Game is beatiful, has god tier animations ... but WTF happened to that logo ? O.o
Game is influenced by graffiti art and old school cartoons. Dev wanted to maintain that graffiti esque look without it being too gritty. I had been very active in the forums for weeks pre-KS, and he had gone through so many iterations of that logo. It was this style that really stuck. It's definitely the best compared to all the other versions

Might have been influenced by those things, but it is not what the final product tells

The smaller pallete MAYBE brings something closer to stencil ...

Even the greenlight tells "Inspired by the aesthetics and simplicity of 16-bit classics"
This is NOT a logo that you would find even in the most generic 16 bit game =P

Really great to hear that Love got greenlit. It was on my collection of favourites, and I'm really looking forward to the Steam release (already bought on IGS a while ago). Congrats.

Updated my collection with a couple new entries and removing the three that got Greenlit in this batch. If you're looking for high quality games that haven't been Greenlit yet because you don't like going through the main Greenlight backlog, check 'em out here:

Let's help boost 'Mage's Initiation'

They are at 99% of the way to the Top 100 games. If you love old classic Sierra games, you'll love this one.

I've already heard the music at the start of the trailer, but I can't remember where. Was it some other graphic adventure game?

Edit: Remembered, from some trailer of the blackwell games.

XenoRaptor
Greenlight | Official Site
In XenoRaptor, you play as a cyberdragon fighting against armies of rocket propelled chainsaws, bulldozer tanks and other demonic warmachines. The game is designed to be fast paced, responsive and challenging.
You can build an enormous amount of distinct weapons by combining components dropped by bosses, making anything from an antimatter chaingun to a weapon which teleports attack bears into the cockpit of enemy ships.

The enemy design is also very varied. There are a lot of different weapons at their disposal, and they use them in many cunning ways. Some enemies will charge straight at you while others cloak and try to position themselves for an ambush. Another type will fire missiles at you from long range, and run away if you get close.
You can use their weapons and AI against them, however. Enemies in XenoRaptor deal full damage to each other, so if you pay attention to how the AI reacts you can trick them into shooting each other or crashing into things. Or hypnotize them with a mind control laser and get your own rocket chainsaw army.

The game has 8 player coop as well as 16 player deathmatch. A team based multiplayer mode is also on the way, although more playtesting will be involved in working out exactly how that's going to work.

I played the demo, bought the beta ten minutes later. The last game that compelled to buy it so fast was Broforce. This game combines the frenetic frantic pace of Assault Android Cactus with badass space dragon mechs, an arsenal of crazy weaponry, satisfying effects, and multiplayer. It's really good and definitely worth your vote

Sweet, Mage's Initiation finally got greenlit. Since I backed the kickstarter hopefully I will be able to get a Steam copy when it launches now.

It's really surprising that a game can obtain $100k+ in a crowdfunding campaign yet struggle mightily to pass through Greenlight even though the frequency of greenlit games has increased so much.

Also, good to see Richard & Alice getting through.

So... UnityAGK, an Action Game package for Unity, has been greenlit in this batch.

How are they going to sell this through Steam? Will Valve also add Unity to the store? You can't use it without Unity, as it's only a bunch of assets and scripts to be used within the Unity enviroment.

Tell me about it. After the Kickstarter ended I naively assumed it would get greenlit quick and now here we are with it taking almost a year. Every time I saw the next greenlight wave I was a little sad Mage's Initiation was no where to be seen.
