And I'm not saying this as a conservative supporter or any of the sorts. I'm not american and most comments in this thread about both the right and the left have looked fucking insane and destructive to me, I literally cannot relate to most of them so I don't have a horse in this race.

My kid is pretty innocent/sheltered in general. I honestly just don't think he is doing that stuff. He just plays stupid roblox games.. which probably has its own issues. Roblox is almost always with his friends though.

His phone is all Apple Family accounted up... he can't even open a private browser on safari.. and he can't download chrome.

most people are already on the center. twitter and social media just shows the worst of the worst.

ive been watching bodycam videos on youtube. and the number of drunk assholes is shockingly high. no wonder cops hate everyone. everyone they encounter is an asshole. and social media is basically full of loud mouth assholes. no one normal is out there going viral for their tweets. most normal people keep their thoughts to themselves. or lack the ability to meme-ify their thoughts.

i celebrated Elon buying twitter but the twitter today is not what i expected when i wanted less moderation. it has zero moderation. i am constantly being fed groyper content. Which means i am being told jews did 9/11, that blacks have low IQ and almost exclusively kill and rape white women, that holocaust was not real, how women are all sluts, etc. And no matter how many nick feuntes channels i block, elon keeps pushing them back to my timeline. it's just one angry nutjob after another. i feel like a cop trying to keep the peace between warring assholes.

We need to get rid of the idea that "the left" and "the right" gives us anything close to accurate picture of who we are talking about. This terminology doesn't allow for any naunce and ignores the fact that the left and right have many subsets that fundamentally disagree with each other on many many issues. Majority of the left aren't anarchist and communist. The majority of the right aren't fascist and white supremacists. We routinely speak of our political opposition as if this isn't the case.

Because I'm anti-trump, I'm considered a part of "the left", when in reality I'm much closer to a mid 2000's conservative. I would love nothing more than for a moderate leaning conservative to rise through the ranks of the GOP, so I no longer had to vote for democratic candidates.

We need leaders who recognize that compromise is a core requirement to run our multicultural nation. That doesn't mean they have to give the political opposition everything they want, just acknowledge that many issues require naunced legislation.

I don't know how pilled one way or another you have to be to not see it as the giant fucking psyop it is.

Nobody speaks in good faith on there. I'm not even sure they are real people.

I mean the Secret Service nearly let Trump get killed just last year. The quality of security for public figures is kind of appalling and there needs to quite literally be a revolution in how security is handled and how seriously is it taken. They didn't take security seriously at all last year in Butler and that has to change

Where's the actual source for this? The Utah Sheriff County report says an interview with a family mentioned having a discussion about Kirk and how they didn't like him or the hate he spews.

I've seen this line twisted to say he killed him because the shooter was left wing and hated the antics of people like Kirk and now that the hate was because his beliefs were not far enough.

Beyond the initial line in the report of "didn't like Charlie Kirk" I've not seen a source to suggest the interpretations of this line.
