Game Developers celebrating assassination of Charlie Kirk (Sucker Punch, Bungie, The Coalition etc) [Update] Sucker Punch Dev Fired

Not sure how folks feel about this YT channel (they're a bit left-leaning, but they make sure to point out hypocrisy in both sides typically), but I found this to be a great interview. They managed to get some air-time with the individual who was debating Charlie when the assassination occurred. It covers many prevalent topics related to political extremism, the dangers of "righteous" violence, the essential need to keep an open platform of debate, etc.

Mods, if this is leaning too far into the political territory then please remove my post.

Excpect credible sources are writing that he was politically on the left side of the political spetrum while far left accounts try to spread lies.. This isn't a "both sides" case. It's far left loonies trying to blame the murder of one of the most prominent conservative influencers on conservatives. Anybody with an iq over 80 should realize that its 99% not the case that a conservative was assassined by another conservative.

The firing of Palmer Luckey, founder of Oculus, by Mark Zuckerberg after (then still) Facebook acquired his company, is still one of the most douchey Silicon Valley backstabbings I know of and SV is notorious for its acquisition backstabbings. It happened during the height of cancel culture and Zuck used the excuse that Luckey supported Trump to ice him from the company he founded

Luckey landed on his feet though, he founded Anduril Industries and is currently supplying advanced drone technology to the military among other things

You're right, it's not a "both sides" case, it's a "neither side", neither side knows what's fact and throwing barbs at the other to gain political clout points.

I'd caution folks to wait until we have some actual, concrete information. But a lot of folks have already made up their mind one way or the other.

I am not saying anything about faith one way or the other, I was just suggesting that if he's not sure if this is the right place, there's another place he can post it in. I realize it's hard to perfectly categorize posts when there is so much overlap during an event like this but the poster did mention he wasn't sure if this was the right place so I was just trying to help 👍
