What is the last game you preordered?

i can't remember. doesn't make any sense anymore. i only buy digital games and they won't run out of copies.

so maybe GTA 5 in 2013? lol

Resident Evil Requiem, physical Xbox edition. Just to make sure I get it at launch. I'm disappointed they skipped a decent Collector's Edition this time though.

I almost never pre-order games. From what I recall the last three games I preordered would be:

Mario Kart World
Crash Team Racing Nitro-fuelled
Spyro Reignited

I'll have pre-ordered less than 10 games during my lifetime. Unless it's heavy nostalgia, a new console or something very special I wait for discounts lol.

Metroid Prime 4. And was nice since the S2 edition got sold quickly here

I didn't do RE9 mostly because still don't show up, but I'm about to

Code Violet. Pre-ordered it on Monday night at 6:42pm on PSN. It had been on my scope donkeys ago and a trailer reminded me it was to be released this week.

I cancelled said pre-order at 7:16pm on Monday night after looking more into it. Bought a key for Yakuza Kiwami 3 deluxe for PC instead.

I think GTA 5. If it wasn't that it was GTA 4 or Halo 3.

Edit: Actually I remember picking up a pre-ordered MW2 in 2009.

This is how far back I have to go...

Definitely Dragon's Dogma 2, FF7R PC, & Cyberpunk.

I'd argue only one of them was worth it, the rest reminded me why i don't preorder lol

I've got NiOh 3, DQ7R, and RE:R preordered. I'll probably do digital deluxe of NiOh 3 and RE cause my preorders sit at Amazon. Which is weird cause I typically preorder on PSN and then cancel Amazon. Stupid? Yeah cause I usually buy digital. Preordering on Amazon is cool cause it makes you feel like you got a legit preorder in. Digital storefronts tend to take cash ahead of time. I have DQ7R preordered on the eshop and Nintendo will charge me for it 7 days or something before it comes out. They charged me for Prime 4 and I had been sitting on that preorder since it was available.

I love preordering. Babbages use to give you tiny pieces of paper with the name of the game on it back in the late 90's. Ever since then I've preordered. It's exciting regardless of all the logical reasoning. I'm weird about it, but it use to be exciting.

Do Expansions count? Then WoW Midnight and D4 Lord of Hatred.
If not then... i don't even remember the last time i preordered a game :messenger_tears_of_joy:

The last game I actually preordered was Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree - big enough expansion, proven game, felt like a safe bet.

Just pre-ordered Dragon Quest VII - Reimagined. I'll get Yakuza 3 Kiwami and Resident Evil Requiem in february. My finances are dead.

During E3 when stores used to have buy 2 get 1 free promos. I think the last preorder I did came from that deal. Witcher 3, COD, NHL.

BF6, but in fairness, it was literally a day prior to launch so does that even count? Next one will be Forza Horizon 6. Only two franchises I bother to pre-order as I know even if mediocre I'll still get money's worth out of them. Game pass has been my savior for trying out games these days and deciding whether or not to purchase them. Saved me on Starfield, that's for sure.

I preorder plenty of games but it's usually only like the day before they come out so that it's ready to go on launch. There were a couple games I preordered when PS Stars had bonuses and it was a game I knew for sure I wanted.

Battlefield 6 because at some retailers it was 49€ on release instead of the usual 79€. Preordered day before.

Otherwise I don't do preorders

Trails Beyond the Horizon

Though I probably won't play it for a few years
