I don't know why but that made me laugh.

Any episode that focuses on one character and is very different is always gonna be like it or hate it. It's always the case.

I say it will be worth it just to see them underestimate carol like everyone does and have her whoop ass.

Carol is a corny garbage character. Stop

I thought it was obvious Carol was faking it in some way. There's no way carol got herself beat up like that rolling with Daryl. Carol is faking it, she is going to come in guns a blazing. Daryl comes in afterward. Heads will roll. Arrows shot.
I hope this is the case. Carol is so awesome.

I thought it was great. Definitely different but it was a good change of pace from the rest of the season that's been going full-speed. The Carol twist made it that much better in my opinion.
It was definitely good, just weird.

So THATS why abrahams group left for no reason. (Its been a long time since the zombies came, whats one or two more days?)

Split up the group for 3 storylines cuz gotta burn episodes! Wouldnt want to have to do 16 episodes of story progressing.

If Daryl picked up Chris and Carol goes in as a weakling to fuck their shit up, then this episode is good on paper. But, introducing so many new characters with a short arc in a serial is bad. They needed to keep their momentum up with people we care about.

you're literally alone on this. She is amazing.

While I wouldn't go as far as saying Garbage, she's pretty uninteresting. If you take away the fact that she's killed a bunch lately, she murdered two allies at the prison and brainwashed a child into becoming a full fledged sociopath bordering on/if not completely psychopath.

Daryl is a badass but he's not a sociopath. Carol's only become a badass because she's become emotionally dead inside.

Carol's only become a badass because she's become emotionally dead inside.

Her losing three children (one of which killed the other one and yes... "adopted" children, even if they weren't hers) shouldn't make her emotionally dead inside?

I'm still trying to figure out how Darryl and Carol split up when they both left together to chase the other car that picked up Beth initially. What happened between that time frame and now?

I think they met chris, he tells them what's going on. Carol goes to be the Trojan and daryl and chris goes and get Rick and co.

They'll probably use an episode to explain that, since it seems they're gonna be doing some jumping around a bit to cover for lack of main villain for now.

I'd imagine we'll find that out next, since Carol's on the scene now, could see the plan theory fitting quite well.

I dunno what people were thinking I really liked this episode. Beth is a character who has the opportunity to be interesting. She's not like Andrea where watching her means I'm scratching my eyes out.

I mean she's Darryl's desciple so that has to mean something.

Agreed. It was a bit slow but it was quite enjoyable. I enjoyed the mystery and ofcourse that cliffhanger is amazing too.

She was dead inside before Lizzie killed her sister. She's lost it since before the Flu epidemic. And I'm not saying that she shouldn't have lost it. I'm saying that the only reason she's become this killing machine is because she's broken. That makes her character pretty one-note from here on out. There's no complexity to her. Daryl has layers. Rick still has his kids influencing him (the biggest saving grace to his morality being his daughter). Michonne has regained personal connection through the group and Carl specifically.

Carol? She's got nothing left. So at this point, she's uninteresting as a character to me outside of killing bad guys and zombies. And there's multiple other characters who already do that well.

Yeah, but that would mean they'd stop giving chase to the car in order to pick up Noah. I can't even picture that happening logically, unless they kill the driver in some sort of confrontation lol.

Ughhh the wait for next week's episode will be torture!

They see a hobbled guy wearing scrubs walking alone on the road could make them stop.

^That doesn't match up with the look of shock on her face when they brought Carol in. IMO at least.

Oh, look at her face when Chris asked about her and Daryl. She definitely knows something. Expect something interesting between the two of them when they're reunited.

Could be her just not expecting her to be caught/beat up.

Wow, that was a disappointing episode. It was nice seeing Beth again but I don't care much for this subplot or any of these new characters.

Her being one note right now doesn't mean she's always going to be one note. Rick losing it was "one note" over the death of Lori, for instance. She can come back and see the good in people. But I kinda doubt she will given her arc of being an abused house-wife.

Maybe Beth smiled at the end becausenshe saw Daryl and Carol while trying to escape.

No, she smiled because Noah escaped. So at least one of them was free.

What? The car chase was Beth being brought to the hospital. Beth helped Noah escape a while after that. :p

There's always the chance. But I can't feel like she's an awesome character right now based on what could possibly happen in the future. I'm more interested in Beth's character as she's in the middle of a giant piece of growth. From her traveling with Daryl through tonights ep, she's growing and changing. Carol's in a holding pattern.

No... The car chase was days to over a week later. Beth was taken before Daryl ran into that "All you do is claim it" group. And he traveled with them for at least a full day. Then there was the events at Terminus and then the travel to the Church before that car was spotted again.

Ugh are they going to do one group an episode now?

So then we have to wait like three weeks to find out what happens to each group?

Lame. Laaaaaaame.

The amount of characters in this show is downright comedic. If they killed 50% of them I honestly wouldn't care because it would mean I would get a tighter story.
