There's always the chance. But I can't feel like she's an awesome character right now based on what could possibly happen in the future. I'm more interested in Beth's character as she's in the middle of a giant piece of growth. From her traveling with Daryl through tonights ep, she's growing and changing. Carol's in a holding pattern.

No... The car chase was days to over a week later. Beth was taken before Daryl ran into that "All you do is claim it" group. And he traveled with them for at least a full day. Then there was the events at Terminus and then the travel to the Church before that car was spotted again.
Maybe I'm not following it well. I thought they randomly spotted the car and took off after Carol went Rambo and freed them from Terminus. Then Rick wanted to wait for them having no idea where they went.

The timeline roughly goes:

-Beth gets kidnapped and Daryl chases the car until he comes into a split in the road and loses the trail.
-Sometime after that (minutes or hours) the "Claim it" group finds him. He joins them.
-They track Rick, Michonne, and Carl until they're fairly close to Terminus.
-Rick goes nuts, on the Claim It group and Daryl rejoins Rick and Co.
-They go into Terminus and get caught, reuniting with everyone but Carol and Tyrese.
-Sometime after that Carol goes rambo with a bottle rocket and they all get out of Terminus.
-Then they travel for sometime and find the Preacher. He takes them to the Church.
-Later that day they go to the food bank, Bob gets bit.
-That night at the Church, Carol sneaks out to go to the car and Daryl follows her. Then they see the same car that took Beth and chase after it.
-Shortly after that Bob gets kidnapped outside the Church.

The cops shoot at the injured and unarmed black man and just arrest the white girl. Why am I not surprised...

Oft hope is born when all is forlorn.
Shitty episode. entire episode on beth, and those characters weren't even interesting.

Christ that was bad. Like one of those shitty medical dramas, except with zombies.

But man, Everybody loves Chris is a cool dude. Hope we see him again.

People just want action all the time. I don't get it.

Yeaaaaah, that's it. You have us all figured out.

I felt like I was watching something from the 90s. Everything was so campy. The acting, cinematography, banter, and medical mumbo jumbo, the bad cops.

Not to mention incredibly rushed. Meet a bunch of characters, cops wear the uniform for some reason, presumably for their whole little society, which only seem to consist of like the cops and the doctor and Everybody Hates Chris.

Then they just hatch this escape which Everybody Hates Chris reveals to Beth for some reason, and they just do it so fast and then Beth is in the cop's office, who is tolerating her for some reason.

All of this to set up Carol's arrival... and then I guess Carol sacrifices herself for Beth, which then brings us back to the church?

For some reason? They were cops before.

Supersonic, idiotic, disconnecting, not respecting, who would really ever wanna go and top that
I'm in the minority on this one, I actually enjoyed the episode. It did a decent job of building up the people in the hospital as future antagonists. Honestly don't even think they'll need all of Rick's group to take them down. Carol will be enough once she gets up.

I know, but I don't get why they keep wearing the uniform when there's like 8 people in the hospital. It's like they give you this feeling that there are lots of peoples and roles, but it's like there are 6 cops, the doc, and Chris. I get that they didn't have time to flesh it out, and it just makes it look dopey and campy.

They show that there are more than that. There are people working the cafeteria as well as Guards on the rooftop. They just didn't put everyone front and center.

Nah man, I also liked this episode. After last weeks amazing episode, I think I needed a break from Rick's group.

I found this group to be at least somewhat more plausible to exist as opposed to Terminus which still seems like a silly concept to me.

Though still seems pretty implausible that they'd have been able to keep this up for 1-2 years since the apocalypse started. Like it'd make more sense in season 2 or 3 than season 5.

First episode where Beth wasn't annoying for once. I really liked this episode because of all the new people. Nice to see some fresh faces in this show and also not have everything explained right off the bat. I like it when a show wants their audience to think a little.

The one thing I didn't like was the name of the female cop. (Don? Donna?) Never could understand what they were calling her.

EDIT: LOL, Dawn, wtf. Man, I hate homophone names.

EDIT2: Also, really too bad that Daryl wasn't around to see what an amazing shot Beth has become. Headshots! In the dark! And then again, after walking out into direct sunlight!

Thinking Carol is gonna revert to pre-season 3 Carol by pretending to be weak and whiny. It fits perfectly thematically. Trojan Horse indeed.

I didn't think much of this episode, but predicted the vitriolic hate purely due to the Beth focus. This is a potentially really interesting direction for the character, and continues the great work they've done for her characterization since season 4. The scene with Dawn telling Beth that some people are made for this world and some aren't, was really telling. They are gonna bring that theme home when we return to this plotline. Looking forward to it.

Maybe she'll sex someone up then murder them in their sleep like she suggested Andrea do to the Governor in season 3.

Or she'll rig up some dirty bomb out of medical supplies and explode the fuck out of everything again.

Interesting episode. Sadly, either I don't care about any of the characters at the hospital or I just straight up dislike them. Noah's cool. I hope we see him again.

I think it's fitting that these clowns brought in Carol because she looks weak, injured and harmless. Lawd they in for a ruuude awakening. They probably would've been safer bringing in 10 tons of live dynamite and trying to cut all the fuses before they went off.

Also, I usually shrug off all the consistent head shots on the show, but since when did Beth turn into Angelina Jolie's character from Wanted? c'mon son

This is how I hope the next episode will end.

Beth has been learning from Daryl and it showed.

Anyway I like seeing how others are surviving from time to time. I understand that most people want Rick & company every episode but I guess you guys just have to suffer or skip a week once in a while.

Next week team Abraham should be fun!

Awful and boring episode. And it was doing so well.

Hoping the next episode is literally Carol murdering everyone because she doesn't have time for this bullshit.
