I dont know, I feel like they are making Pete too obvious without actually showing any evidence that hes done it. I bet Jeese ends up being the one abusing the kids.

Ooh, that would be a nice twist! Especially if Rick actually does jump the gun and kills Pete without any concrete evidence.

she kinda flinched when he touched her at the end of the last episode. i think it's pretty obvious he's the bad guy, just like it was obvious how terminus was a bunch of cannibals.

Would you agree that this is the strongest half season the show has had yet?
The only half seasons that come close for me (provided that we're not counting Season 1) are the 2nd half of Season 2 and the 1st half of Season 3.

Rick brings Jessie home with him after offing Pete "the abuser" only to discover her tossing baby Judith down the stairs after she won't stop crying.

Maybe so. Either way, Pete is dead meat.

Especially bad when you consider he's the groups' doctor and Tara is badly in need of one at the moment...

Yeah I'm in agreement that Pete being the abuser is too obvious. For reason I feel like it's the mom and Rick and Carol are going to kill the wrong person which is gonna add more fuel to already brewing fire.

Man this second half has been pretty good. Tense as fuck.

Oh and fuck Gabriel and the dumbass Alexandrians. Glenn should have known better than to go with them two after the last time they went out.

wouldn't you say it was too obvious at the end of season 4 that the terminians were cannibals? agreed with pretty much everything else though.

i wonder what they have planned with tara. she's an original character and the last link left of this show to the governor. once she croaks - if she does, all ties to that character are done.

Just finished the ep, christ man, what the fuck. If anything, I thought Gabe was gonna bite it since he was the first person you see in both 'previously on...' and when it starts.

Noah getting teared apart like that, lol that was brutal.

Fuck Gabriel. I bet the kid is just getting bullied by the other kids.

That sucked with Noah. He was all saving Glenn's ass that entire episode.

This is going down like I anticipated.

Neither group is bad, but they are going to turn on each other.

2nd half of last season was pretty amazing too

Season 5 has been possibly the best yet. Season 2 dragged on the farm, and while seasons 3 and 4 had some high points they also had a share of weak episodes. It feels like the character development and plotting are well synchronized this season.

man, fuck that priest.

He's right, though. The Ricktatorship is a wrecking crew. They survive, but they'll take out anyone in order to do so. I suppose other groups would do the same, but the fact that Rick's people are still here is reason enough to fear them.

We need that silent moral compass like T-Dogg was. ;)

Rick brings Jessie home with him after offing Pete "the abuser" only to discover her tossing baby Judith down the stairs after she won't stop crying.

I still don't think the show has the balls to do anything bad to Judith. But yeah, I could see something similar happening, where maybe she tries to smother her to keep her quiet or something.

Also, maybe that's why Pete drinks? Because he's in an abusive relationship?

If Rick kills Pete, then I think Tara will die as a result of it since she's badly in need of a doctor.

Spencer and Noah both died due to Nicholas' cowardice, meaning shit is going to go down when they get back to Alexandria (maybe the Alexandrians won't understand or they'll think Glenn and Co. are lying or something). Rick is going to kill Pete, which will piss off Deanna (after what Gabriel said and especially since she'll have just learned of her son's death), and spell doom for Tara. Things will turn out triply bad if it turns out that Jessie is the abuser and not Pete.

It's like dominoes. :O

indeed.

I saw nicholas kinda run out of the spinning glass doors but - how did that cause noah's death? and how was spencer's death his fault?

I think they would have no problem killing Judith. But once they do that, they lose Rick as a semi sane character. At the point where he has nothing left to live for, the show would probably die for me.

If he had helped Glenn pull Spencer up he might have lived, but instead he mentioned them leaving other people and decided to leave Spencer.

He also refused to listen to Glenn's plan about breaking the glass door so they could all live because he was afraid it was going to get him killed. So he ended up pushing the door in so Glenn/Noah were opened towards the zombies so he himself could escape.

It was Aiden that died. Not Spencer. Deanna and Reg have two sons.
Smooth-talking pasta maker pusher to Sasha is still alive and kicking.

As for the revolving door, Glenn asked Nicholas and Noah to hold it steady while he broke the glass so he could get out and free the both of them. Nicholas panicked thinking he would be left behind and wedged his way through the door to the outside which (by virtue of physics) opened up the rear of Glenn and Noah's partition to the walkers on the inside of the factory which were still right alongside the door.

Damn... what a gut-wrenching episode. :(

- Noah taking role of the future architect! (nevermind ;_;)
- Noah and Holly! (nevermind ;_;)
- I don't like that Eugene seems to be completely over the fact that he used Abraham and his group
- "I gotta send a fax to Cleveland" - Instant classic. Never heard of this one. xD
- "Mother dick" - Abraham delivering as always!
- Peter is fucking with probably the last person on the planet anybody should ever fuck with. Rick's got that thirst and not a damn thing you can do about it, bruh
- Damn, Aiden... What a fucking way to go. I guess it is karmic justice in some way considering him and Nicholas bolted on the four Alexandrians but still, damn man, I was actually starting to like in this episode :-/
- Francine is hot. And she got some grit. Hope she sticks around we get to see more of her
- Interesting way for Carol to find out about Peter's abusive tendencies through Sam. Cool way to do it
- Man, fuck Nicholas. I hope he somehow goes out worse than Aiden and Noah combined. Fuck that guy for real
- Noah's death mortified me. Usually I can stomach the deaths on this show but fuck man, Noah went out in the worst way imaginable. I don't think any main reoccurring character has gone out that bad since Dale or T-Dog. That full upper body cast they made of him is INSANE. These makeup artists continue taking these things to another level every season.
- Steven Yeun's performance this episode was fantastic. One of his best episodes in a long time.

dat penultimate episode preview :O

(Preview Spoilers)
Was Sasha taking aim at Enid? Looks like speculation about her being a spy for another group seems to be happening

(Comic Spoilers)
So Francine's replacing Holly it would appear. Aside from that, I really don't like that Carol had to say "you're gonna have to kill him" to Rick. Now I'm somehow certain that Rick won't shoot him. They're gonna flip something up with Peter Anderson's fate, I'm sure. Interesting that Maggie hears Gabriel being a clown on the show considering that was a private conversation in the comic that never came up again. That will definitely be different this time around.

Comic/Preview Spoilers / Episode 5-15 Speculation:
If they were playing the Pete Anderson confrontation from Issue 77 straight next week, the additional two grave markers would be for Pete and Reg. But given how they gave both the Monroes and the Andersons an extra son a piece and their maddening intent to twist existing events around to different characters, it's anybody's guess as to who could be at risk.

Can I hedge and just say that one will be a Monroe and one will be an Anderson?

One last comment on the preview, but any ideas on who that shadowy figure approaching Daryl might be? Because the fanboy in me wants to say it's Morgan.

I kind of feel like Rick is past his insane grief phase, so I really don't think they'll do anything to Judith. Andrew Lincoln has been very vocal about not wanting to repeat the same character beats over and over again so hopefully Rick will keep moving forward as a character and not regress.

It was Aiden that died. Not Spencer. Deanna and Reg have two sons.

Ah right, I forgot about him.

- Noah's death mortified me. Usually I can stomach the deaths on this show but fuck man, Noah went out in the worst way imaginable. That full upper body cast they made of him is INSANE. These makeup artists continue taking these things to another level every season.

Yeah, that was extremely gruesome. Easily one of the grossest deaths in the show's history. The effects were impressive as heck.

- Steven Yeun's performance this episode was fantastic. One of his best episodes in a long time.

Indeed. I think he's quietly become one of the show's strongest performers.

Yeah, they even look alike. Same hairstyle.

Great episode, it's good to see Noah finally die a horrible death, can't wait to see Glenn kick the bucket.

I hope they get rid of Gabriel soon, it would be great if he is hacked to bits with Rick's machete.

Josh McDermott is so awesome. xD

They need him on Talking Dead more often.

Ah, interesting points. I didn't even consider that the scene with Rick and Deanna overlooking the graves in the preview could be at the end of the next episode. I just really hope that one of the two unknowns isn't Tara. I do agree that one of the Anderson children probably needs to go before the herd attack. Maybe the older kid will be killed by Enid when he discovers she's a spy?

I think you might be spot on with Daryl finding Morgan. I previously said I wouldn't be surprised if they waited for next season to let him find the group, but at the same time I think a payoff for the fans is necessary before the end of this season.

Indeed. I think he's quietly become one of the show's strongest performers.

I just hope they keep giving him this type of great material to work with. Please no more of anything similar to Season 4.5 chasing after Maggie bullshit. -_-
