One more thought based on the events of tonight... with Spencer attempting to butter up Sasha last week at the party before she blew him and the party off to isolate herself in the sniper tower, they do have something in common now. They've now both lost brothers to walker attacks. Perhaps he'll be a new love interest for her.

So after that Gabriel is now on my list of fuckers which need to die right now. No amount of pleading or the writers trying to make me feel bad for him will suffice. I Want Blood.

So, Beth died for nothing then, as did Tyreese...such a horrendous death for Noah. That Nicholas guy
had better be in one of those four graves

Until now, they probably though he was too young.

Probably. They take PG-13 to extreme levels with the sex jokes on Talking Dead. lol

Nice. Didn't even consider that connection. I'm sure something could happen.

Damn i thought Mullet Man was gonna get got but he was a big boy this episode, the van scene was funny "come git me, come on y'all"

Gabriel a little weasel bitch as always, potato head lookin' ass.

I feel like there is no real evidence that Pete is the abuser other than him being a drunk, it'd be crazy if Jesse turned out to be the abusive one lmao.

R.I.P
Everybody Ates Chris
, hate it had to be him.

Seems like they censored Noah's death a bit.

Fuck Gabriel, I remember that moment in the comic and it makes even less sense in the show. In the show they saved his ass twice. Can't wait to see his ass die.

Whoa!

Chandler Riggs finally on Talking Dead next week after almost 5 whole seasons! Nice!

Also, dat 515 Sneak Peak:
NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICCCCEEE. Go Carl!

He actually wanted to go on for the S4 Finale. Chris Hardwick really likes the kid and gave him the go. It would of been perfect as it would of been his and Lincoln's first appearance on the show. However, shortly after AMC said no.

This episode was brutal. Holy shit at Nicholas. What an asshole. Poor Noah didn't deserve that, and it was like you could see Glenn drain away as he watched it in horror. Abraham was a boss.

I'm not sure how I feel about Carol's conversations with Sam. She's clearly trying to make him a bit more self sufficient while extracting as much useful information as possible, but it seemed a bit out of place for her to switch her demeanor so abruptly and then Sam is just like "I still want to talk to you."

I'm wondering if the show would be ballsy enough to have Rick/Michonne summarily execute Nicholas (with approval of course) for being a dick and getting people killed. I hope so because I don't want Tara to die.

Blinded by the luminous glory that is David Bowie's physical manifestation.

Yeah, I saw that on Facebook before this episode and laughed. Someone suggested they have Carl's attacker from Season 4 on there, but that'd just be awful.

Just watched the ep. Can't fuckin believe Noah went out like that. Beth and Tyrese died for no reason! Gaaah! Gabriel is on my shit list.

I'm really enjoying this season. Feels leagues better than the previous. Did the writing staff change or what?

I was wondering the same. they've given more complexity to the characters and having multiple character stories all intertwining with the core one has made the show a lot more interesting to watch. some of the same tropes are still there like the stupid postive feel good scenes that blatantly indicate an impending death but overall its much better.

To be honest, I feel like they are trying too hard to paint the incompetence of Alexandria's crew when they are outside. It just does not make sense with how prosperous the community have been. If they are abandoning people to the walkers so quickly without a fight, they must be losing guys all the time. As for Aiden, even though we are led to believe he is a moron who has no business leading runs, yet somehow he has managed to survive all this time only to die on the very first run with the leads. Sure it makes for good drama, but it is really hard to believe these are the same people that put up a wall and maintained a place that has all kinds of modern convenience for months and years.

I'm not saying the Alexandrians aren't a bunch of craven incompetents, but in Aiden's defense figure the fucking odds of an armored grenade wielding zombie coming at you. Like, that's some video game shit.

How the hell has Alexandria lasted so long with such incompetent idiots going out on runs and stuff? Maybe they had better people in the past but the Alexandrian proclivity to leave people behind got those individuals killed?

Yea I dont get how Alexandria has survived. There has to be a twist to explain it.

In regards to Alexandria's apparent incompetence, I recall that Deanna said that she had to exile some people. I wonder if they were part of the reason that the community has seemingly flourished for so long.

Surely the exiled would've come back or met up with another group and told them about it. Not too mention randons finding it. No way the place has survived without something else going on. Maybe its a testing ground for new groups before they're let into the real Alexandria?

Yeah, that could also explain why she was so desperate for a group like Ricks to protect them.

Rick and his friends are bad people, Deanna!

Not like me! The worst thing I've ever done was let my congregation be eaten alive! I'm a GOOD person.

As I said in an earlier post, in the comic he kinda' had a reason to turn on the group. They never saved him but he took them into his church and went with them for protection and he ran out of food. He does witness the group butchering the cannibals in the comic. But in the show it makes zero sense because the group personally saved his ass twice.

I don't really see why it seems so unrealistic that Gabriel would view the group as evil. He is obviously a conflicted, unstable individual. The apocalypse life is bringing the worst out of some people. In his sense, it's making him very unstable. Gabriel is wrestling with the violence and brutality that he has witnessed being dispensed by Rick's group. Remember that he didn't have much exposure to this prior to them because he shut himself inside of the church.

Just because they saved him twice doesn't mean he still doesn't view them as evil now. He himself probably believes that he was deceived by Satan's "false light." Now that he is in the apparent safety of Alexandria, he sees things like a basket of strawberries and a nice note and probably thinks, "look these are good people that have survived without resorting to brutality." However, if he was thinking reasonably he would understand that even some of the Alexandrians have had to do horrible things to establish their community. Now he believes that to redeem himself for being tempted by Satan and locking his congregation out he needs to warn the Alexandrians.

TLDR: Gabriel is like, "Yeah they saved me twice but that's just the devil trying to tempt and corrupt me. They murder people like its nothing, even inside a church. They are Satan!"

The flight plan I just filed with the agency list me, my men, Dr. Pavel here. But only one of you!
Gabriel looked like a fucking lunatic in that scene, I would hope Deanna is like "yeah... satan... sure buddy."

The funny thing about Gabriel is that you'd think a priest would be the first one to be all about fightin' unholy monsters like zombies.

Also a priest kicking zombie ass would be rad as fuck.

But NOOOOOOO

This was a really solid episode. Enjoyed it a lot. Can't wait for the final two episodes.

On a related note, this episode was directed by David Lynch's daughter. Check out her movie 'Surveillance'.

Let her direct the rest of the series please.
