Walking Dead to me is like Lost, it's great on it's own but it's one of those shows that is so much better when you watch it live week-week.

Viewing parties, before/after conversations, live conversations, speculation between episodes and mid-season breaks. You can't get this kind of stuff a year after a season airs and it's why i keep cable. Stuff like this, Saul, Game of Thrones etc. it's an experience within an experience.

I really wish there was some way to recreate this for people watching shows in the future. I love Lost and like when I show it to people now it's harder to make it hit as hard without the crazy speculation. Event television is just a special breed of fun.
