what if this show is political commentary on how trigger happy American cops are
I never before got how porn-y this scene was.

I'm more and more under the impression that the zombie-problem is just about solved by now, they actually have to go out of their way to find zombies roaming around.
The thing is, things changed since season 1. When Rick woke up and arrived in Atlanta, there were still some good people around. Sure there were a lot of zombies, but overall I'd say there were enough survivors around who were naive, waiting for the government to show up or taking care of the sick/injured. Over the course of the following six seasons those people died. Most likely killed by people like the Saviors who took advantage of them or walked into a zombie. I don't know how many years it's been in the series since the zombie outbreak, but as it is right now 90% of the survivors who are alive right now have done the most terrible things to live.
I love that the episode was filled some genuinely funny moments, but also some very unsettling moments too. Those dudes they killed may very well have deserved it, but doing it while they were sleeping just feels very wrong. Especially since the group knew almost nothing about them; remember in Season 1 when they were about to throw down with some gangsters but it turned out they were caring for old folks? It could have easily gone down the same way.
Oh well. Just hope that Gabriel keeps quoting the bible before he lays fools to rest.
They lead a gigantic group of walkers away, who is to say that these won't walk back towards Alexandria/the Hilltop?I'm more and more under the impression that the zombie-problem is just about solved by now, they actually have to go out of their way to find zombies roaming around.

The Saviors they fought last night were enough proof. The two guards were gigantic pricks (the one using the zombiehead as a dummy, whut) and the sleeping guys had pictures of splattered heads hanging on a board. That's reason enough to sound the alarm on these people.

Did you forget the part where Daryl/Sasha/Abraham lured away a big group of zombies from Alexandria by driving very slowly in front of them?
They did, but much later. They took the zombies far enough and returned with the truck, they didn't know about the Alexandria attack.Didn't they turn around and went for Alexandria when the Wolves attacked?

Oh sure. Especially the kinds that are popping up right now, decaying all over the place.Zombies cost money guys
All you had to say with that gif is:
The most jarring thing so far to me was them having an ultrasound machine and a super clean "hospital" room. It seems like a massive waste of electricity to run a machine like that, not to mention who saves one of these things during a zombie apocalypse? Humans have been giving babies for thousands of years before ultrasound. Just seemed weird to me.
the bit where they ambushed the 2 guards was amazing, the first one got taken out and then everyone just hides again until the other one came back with the hostage? brilliant!
I kinda thought it seemed to easy at the end though.
Also what have i missed with those 2 going away in the campervan, where are they going?
also why's abe leaving, seems really random
All you had to say with that gif is:
Gabriel: "Let not your heart be troubled."
Savior: "You're just as dead as me."
Gabriel: "In my father's house are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you."
Savior: "You're all dead."
Gabriel: "I go prepare a place for you."
Savior: "Blood's coming."
Gabriel: "Amen."
I really hope they transform Gabriel into a more prevalent character. A killer who says he's a servent of god or something. Make bible quotes and murder his shtick. So much potenial. They have such a great actor to pull it off.

Great episode. One of those that it felt too short. So hooked that you lost track of time.
Amazing episode. Easily on of the Top 3 of the show.
TWD is on a winning streak. I don't think the show has been any better than it is right now, barring the pilot and some other random episode. Pacing was the best it's ever been and the tension remained high through the whole episode.
With that said, they should have done some proper recon. Dumb fucking move on Rick's part.
Edit: Gabriel is now more likeable than Morgan. Why I never.
Not in the picture: where Shane is. Rick is not amused.
It's not a question that is supposed to always be answered as '0'. Its more of a lie detector test to see how they react to the question.Just 3-4 chapters before, Daryl was trying to recruit Jesus using their 3-Questions test ("How many humans have you killed?, etc"). Right now, none of the main cast would pass it. Which is kind of amusing and hypocritical of them.

Feels like a lifetime ago that Lori was part of the story (and a bunch of other characters).
Very strange revisiting the first season, in particular.

Yes, the test is to try figuring out what kind of persons they are.The questions are to determine what sort of person they're talking to. Killing someone doesn't "fail" you.
That's the worst idea. All you had to say with that gif is:

You're forgetting the last question, "Why?"Yes, the test is to try figuring out what kind of persons they are.
So, if someone had tell them: "We have killed countless amount of persons. We even went into a raid once and dispatched them while sleeping. Well, that's not true, once of us is actually counting her hits (kids count double points). Oh, we also have a reverend that recites verses before going to town.", I'm sure Daryl and the rest would have accepted them. =P
is it weird that Jesus is already one of my favorite Characters in this season? Love that dude. Hope he will stick for a long time and join the crew

It's incredible how quickly they upended all the positive sentiment towards Morgan. He came into Alexandria a complete bad ass, and now here we are a season later where he's become an advocate of nothing but peace. Makes no sense based on where they are in the show.
he is pretty badass. And there was something really funny about Tara confessing to Father Gabriel while Jesus was overhearing.
Let me have some fun. You're forgetting the last question, "Why?"
They're not killing just to kill, or to take their stuff because they can, or to cannibalize them. Context matters, which is why they ask people why they killed humans
Gabriel went all Jules Winnfield on that guy.
I just couldn't sleep thinking about this episode. I was up till 3am and now I'm drowsy at work. But I think it would have been better if Rick did not ambush the saviors
Maybe take the guards down or surround them. Then instead of going room by room killing the sleeping saviors, wake them up and tell them to stfu, or ask for the armory location. Hold them hostage or walk them out. Keep them all in a holding pen at least. I just think there are so many ways this could have ended peacefully. I really think Morgan is very important part of the group. He's the moral true north. From that we can see how much they all diverged. Frankly, I dont mind seeing Glenn or Darryl die now. Maybe even Rick. That was a dick move
I cant root for these guys anymore...
Yeah, that was incredibly shitty of him.And fuck Abraham for how he handled things with Rosita. I really hated him for what he said (loved him up until that point, still a great character though).
Yeah, that was incredibly shitty of him.
Not only the way he did it, but because it was just mere hours before the incursion. One they didn't have any guarantees of survival already. He directly put her (and potentially others) in direct harm ways. I was kind of disappointed that it didn't play a part, but pretty sure it will later on.
(And I sort of get his point.. the guilt may be consuming him, and he didn't want to keep the lie any longer. But that was really not the best approach, at all. And Rosita -of all people- didn't deserve it either).
